First Impressions:

Loving that the AI is now much less ******ed. When in possession they will actually try andmake a run past you or look for the pass instead of jockeying back to their own half or running to the other end of the pitch.

Attacking AI seems awesome and not too over done. Playing as Ars Podolski made a cracking run into the box and volleyed it home from a nice lob pass.

Overall the pace of the game feels slightly slower. Which is fine with me, feels much more
realistic. Small touches on this aspect too like there is a bigger difference in animation
when you go from jogging to sprinting.

First touch is good and definitely feels better than having every pass land perfectly at your feet, even though sometimes this can **** you up when your defender mis-handles a pass.

Definitely impressed. Liking the live commentary too, in a match they commented that Giroud was out of form ( I'm guessing this was before the Liverpool match)

We also gotta remember that this code is like 2months old so they will still be working on it even at this point in time.

The finesse is shot to pieces. I know it was way over powered before but now it's almost
impossible to put it away using finesse even inside the box.

Ignore JWRIGHT, at that is rubbish... Ea sports season pass, basically means you pay 20 quid, get the game on the 22nd (in europe) throgh the online. Play it for 6 days then when you get the game everything you done is transfered over... So basically you get the full game 6 days early... you also get 24 gold backs 1 a week... If like me you preordered the ultimate edition that means i will get 48 premiem gold packs... 2 a week. Also 20% of any other packs you buy and some other DL content...

Cant wait for the game... Ps3 get it last as always... Game is gonna be quality because its always the same as last year with it polished a little bit more, better features and improved modes... Cant wait for fifa 13 UT...

Yeh i agree with most of that from my first few quick games. Only tried a handful of finesse shots but all were woeful. Players first touches were much poorer and passing also seemed a bit tougher, although long cross field passes and long passes in general seemed a bit better.

Also liked the heading, as arsenal giroud bossed a few ppl out his way to win headers which was nice.

Only played a couple games so far though will play some more later, but happy with what i've seen so far.

Why are skill games not available to play?

There's a screen that comes up saying what the skill games are about but I can't progress through to actually try them out.?

Can't download the PC demo. I just see a loading circle thingy on EA's origin site.

Anyone had a similar problem? (I'm in the UK fwiw)

Yeah, my bad.
I thought it was that unique code you got with your game that allows you to play the online game modes.

It's a demo, the only thing you can really do is an Exhibition match. As was the case with last year's demo, selecting other things will bring up info about them but you can't actually play them.

Out now in the US PSN store...

Thoughts:

I like the skill games
Graphically it's a big improvement
Defending AI is terrible (on World Class difficulty), frequently they'll just be completely caught out with all of them on the left side of the pitch.

After further research it's clearly a massive bug.

Hay gais i think there is a bug or sumthing i downloaded the fifa 13 demo but when i start it up to play im pretty sure it's just fifa 12 with new jerseys.

He's rated 85 so pretty sure he's up there with the best
