Love having 2 pacey forwards. Normally play with RVP instead of Podolski, but having that pace really does come in handy. Shame as RVP is so good!

I think my results may be down to different tactics. After some people mentioning it, I now set to counter-attack and defensive as soon as I start a match. Just seems to give me lots of chances. Especially breakaway 1on1's.

Sometimes drop to Ultra-D late on if the other team are really pushing forward, seems to give even more breakaways for me. Score lots of goals in 80min+.

Would of loved to have TOTS Fellaini and Vertongan in, plus Navas on the right but sold off most my coins.


**Do any of the FUT veterans have any advice for the very begging of FUT in 14' ?

Not asking for specific things that will hurt you obviously, but just general trends that can be taken advantage of? I have read that players go pretty cheap at the very start due to a lack of coins on the market...? Anything else worth noting?

. Get on the web app build up some coins pre release.

.get season pass to get loads of free packs plus week early access to the game.

.any decent-to-elite player u pull pre release or in first week u should hold onto. Prices will climb for first 3 weeks

. Grind up some coin early and then buy a bigger name. YouTube uniqueriggerz and then see if you can find FIFA 14 tips, shows the ridiculous profits he was making by that method last year.

.non rare bpl gold such as luiz, cabaye, colocinni and baines were cheap enough plus mis priced early due to not being shiny to grind easy $. Think they will all be shiny now but colo was my main prof last year.

buying and holding onto big names is my main tip, sacrificing quality in your actual UT

Will be interesting to see which players get a boost. Luiz and Baines should clearly be rare cards. Hoping Kosc and Vertongan will get deserved upgrades too!

Imagine Bale will be an 87 or something. Annoying as I doubt I will get the chance to put him in an EPL team!

Web app comes out 14th sep, they will do daily packs etc so you get a good head start.

You will get a few free packs, but get the season pass and you will get alot more. The easiest way to build up was what i said. Buying non rare bpl's and selling on for profits. But buying/selling anyone you think is underpriced can build it up.

Said the same about David Luiz last year since he's probably the most unique player in the game. But he was non rare again.

i think bale will be 89 or 90. Remember Ribery and Robben are 90 and 88.

Iirc ppl at gamescom said hes an 87, might change tho. Robben alrdy dropped to 87 in fifa13, no way hes an 88 in 14

Fifa 14 top 50 players list. Neymar isn't on it!? Which I found bizarre. corresponds to last years rating though. But more importantly bale continues to be worse than players he likely has better winger/defensive and physical stats than. How they get to those numbers baffles me.

The lesser known guys will be serious money in the Web App before the game is released. Definitely check them in the first few days and try and get one for cheap as people will list with no clue of value.
