Up well over 100k on that little lot!

This makes the gambler in me want to spend 500k on packs lol

Mate just spent £17 on packs and got sod all

edit: that was 30 packs btw! and highest was a worthless 84!

Nah i was fully aware it was a losing proposition.

Spent the full 1.1m

Got Blue Zabaleta , SIF Lampard, Silva, Fabregas, Pique, Yaya, Tevez, Nani.

And alot of 41212.

Reckon ill get about 300-400k back, baring in mind i quicksold 80% of it and even most of the good stuff towards the end coz i couldnt be assed.

Definitely gonna have less than i started but figured id get at least one blue, shame it was probably one of the worst. Still glad i did it.

It was just for the gamble I take it then!

Managed to get a TOTS Ferdinand for 140k, think I can get closer to 180k in the next day or so with a 442 card

Was bidding 150k on a diff one, when a 230k bid came out of nowhere! Odd.

As I was typing this, just won a IF 89 RVP for 280k too

I think I actually enjoy putting the team together more than playing some times!

The demo for this is fun, would I be missing out on a lot if I cheaped out and got FIFA 12 instead?

absolutely, fifa 12 is dead. whereas you can still get plenty fun out of Ultimate team 13 with team of the seasons coming out now

I meant gameplay-wise, not the online community. Are there some drastic tweaks between 12 and 13 that I would miss going with 12? Or does it play mostly the same?

If you plan on playing it a few times here and there against the computer then it probably doesn't matter too much. But if you think you might enjoy it and will want to play it in more depth and against human opponents (which is 1000% times better imo) then you should just pay the few $'s more for 13.. Can't imagine 13 is too expensive these days?

Picked up the super cheap version tonight and will try it out tomorrow. Thanks, it's a nice break from the BPL rut I've been in, and I have to admit I wouldn't have looked twice at most of them when assembling a team, apart from the Juventus midfielders. It's kind of remarkable how many excellent defenders there are in Serie A.

Just found out a funny glitch if it hasn't been mentioned here, at the end of the season, put all your **** **** players as starters and your board as your expectations as avoid relagation, no matter how big your club is. quite funny.

There hasn't been a 'what do you think of this team' post for a while... so how about this..

Following my recent success with Falcao with headers, I was considering making this..

Both strikers ~6'4" with 98/99 strength and 88/90 for heading...

Could see it working reeeeeally well and p1ssing some people off!

Only concern would be Fellaini's high defensive WR... Would this be an issue do you think???

Maybe swap the ST's around you'd have a more balanced WR as opposed to all out attack down left and medium/defensive on right.

Doubt it would be a reason not to make that awesome squad tho.

Apart from Walcott, personally find him terrible.

If i was building that squad id probs get an IF Mata on the right to try him, imagine price dropped since his TOTS release.

Btw i will buy some cheap coins on Xbox if they are going?

Anyone played normal seasons mode? ive started playing as sold up my ultimate team.......

the gameplay is a little bit slower which im ok with but its so tilting that you basically play the same teams all the time... in 11 games ive played Dortmund 7 Chelsea 3 and Spurs 1 (im Arsenal)

I've played it a fair amount using Arsenal too. Expect to keep playing those teams in that ratio the whole time. You'll run into PSG more than chelsea though. Tbh it's not just playing the same teams over and over that gets boring. It's that anyone that uses Dortmund all play the same way, so it feels like all the matches are almost the same.

Yea, in seasons I always just find a random team as long as all the starters have a rating of 70 or better and go with it. Definitely get to play with more teams and play against more teams

so just won the div1 title for the first time this year (lol me), but how do I get the pack? On my season screen it has that graph saying "Won Title" and two games remaining, but don't see a pack anywhere.

Also was ironically with my cheapest team in a looong time, through balls from all my CMs were just crushing people, scoring >6 goals twice in the season.
