Right now I'm trying Gerrard or Kaka at CF. I like Gerrard but only have one game with Kaka and he had a great 1-2 with Falco to score.

And I have changed my buttons to be A pass, B cross, Y through, X shoot. So is it L1 + A?

Players prices seem to be dropping dramatically..

Bale 70k+ to ~50k and RVP 35k to 20k in a couple weeks..?

Seems consistent across the leagues

Is this just the norm as the game gets closer to the (prob) Sept release of 14' ?

people are selling in anticipation of team of the season being released in a few weeks (like toty back in january). at that point people buy a ton of packs, there are lots of happy hour type deals, and all prices plunge

can someone reexplain how the chem links all work?

Ive got a 4312 right now.

Fellaini as the middle CM, Podolski at CF, Walker at RB, and Ferdinand at RCB.

But when I stick RM Walcott as the RCM he cant get above 7... is that correct? I thought if you get enough good links, you can get anyone to 9?

He has 1 club, 1 league, and 2 nationality+league out of his 4 links.

just started playing this a ton and love it... however it seems like everyone talking has like WAYYYY more depth of play than anything I'm grasping, can anyone give me a run-down of what I should be doing outside of just playing exhibitions vs friends and maybe starting a career mode career?

play the CPU at highest level your competitive at and then experiment with different style of plays? direct long ball approach,patient passing,1-2 whoring etc.

If Chelsea gets Mourinho, they win the BPL next year. Also, why would Bale stay at Tottenham? He would slide right in at Barca, Man U, Man C, Arsenal, etc. a shame to see the best player in England wasting away on a team that finishes 4th at best.

Ok so I just made a pro should I be playing the drop in club matches? Seasons (not listed in online modes separate choice), ultimate team, or career? Lol I'm a huge newb, just wanna grow my char/team(? Don't have one yet) and maybe play vs others online to move up in ranks/divisions?

It depends if your pro is an online or offline one. Both are separate and you can't use the same pro for both game modes. Offline pro is just for career mode, but if you make an online pro then you can play drop in club matches, or just join a friends club or something. Neither can be used in Seasons or Ultimate team though.

But drop in matches are pretty chaotic for getting into the game, definitely play ultimate team. possibly in the offline seasons first to get the jist/build ur coin and taem up. Then move into online Ultimate team.
