I don't 'play like barcelona', but I am w/ cashy on this one. My game is very offensive minded, mainly because I suck at defense, and I've had a few games of losing by 4 or 5 through my 150-200 games played, but Losing 5 games in a row by 5 or more is crazy and I have had my fair share of FUTilt.

130-50 was almost completely gold cup tournaments. Divisions got boring once I got to one.

sales have been crazy in the last few days, i even increased prices but still sell 15 players an hour :O (meaning i have to invest a little bit more than 5 mins to guarantee enough supply)

cant see a logical explanation for the huge increase in demand(all players have increased sale-rates)

Cashy Ive lost and beat the same guy 7-0. IIRC I had one of the best records last year(in terms of volume + results) and prob have a very competative one this year.

Possession football is one of the easiest ways to lose 5+ vs pace counter attackers who score 5 goals in last 10 mins... Unless you never go balls out when you need a goal or 2 last 20? Im pretty sure I would never ever lose by 2 if I didnt go balls out looking for retribution. But I was never taught its the taking part that counts

Last night I play vs prem XI, all of his players are OOP and wrong form. 3 mins gone I tackle Suarez edge of area, ball pops up ~35 yards out, spinning and bouncing, inside right side of pitch. Wilshere comes onto it, really awkward looking position for his left footed strike. Ball swirls and looks a mess in the air. Hit inside of my GK left hand post in the top corner, goes along line and in. Throughout the game his team is quicker stronger etc and my couldnt trap a bag of cement.

Chemistry is overrated.

pretty sure it is -ev to go all attack before the 75th min mark unless you are 3 down

the main reason it is almost impossible to lose by 5+ is handicapping i think
when you are 3 up and your opponent throws everything forward the players seem to turn into donkeys

you realize players have worse stats with less chemistry, right?

Has anyone here played cashy in a 10 game series or something? I know he's way better than I am, but the way he talks it sounds like he believes he never loses a game where he was actually the worse player.

Last year a bunch of us were close on PS3 standard wise. Juicy was out in front ability wise but he didnt have the best record because he would try to score from 35 yards and completely hated any type of sweatyness. So he would handicap himself or get tilted if you cut back vs him or whatever. Think most of us knew he was out in front though. As for the rest it was pretty close. All Div 1 champ guys, hard to split (Brag: I was up(but close) vs everyone I played from forums (even Juicy but he could pwn at will if his mindset was different)


IIRC Cashy didnt have greatest overall record last year(Juicy mentioned it ITT when they had a tiff, if Im wrong we can blame him, lol) but this game prob suits his play style more than last.

had a crappy record in seasons(1.3 or sth) and decent enough record in FUT(4:1 or sth) last year

my style always got mediocre results in fifa tho especially last year where counter-attack was super overpowered

Yea, I would say that most of us were/are in that 2nd tier, behind like competitive gamers(the guys who travel to tourns etc "pros"... But way ahead of the average Joe.

What this years game has done though has made the average Joe be able to get results vs everyone.

Im searching online for my record this year(Im not on console) and cant find it anywhere. Dont want to guess it incase its totally wrong.

Seasons was lol last year. I went from 10 to the championship with only like 7 defeats and went 7-1-0 in div 1. This year was only slightly harder. There was talk about the first season in each league being a softer player pool though so maybe thats it. Once I won it I didnt hang around to find out.

Anyone played this on PC and console and can say if its the same game? I know in the past(FIFA 11 or 12) that the PC version was completely different game, it wasnt upgraded to "next gen".

I am considering offloading my PS3, I literally use it only for FIFA, and the occasional blu-ray. I have a solid PC that would handle any game and a laptop that would likely manage any game, got seperate blu-ray player etc too so seems pointless keeping PS3, except I have to get my FIFA fix(helps me a ton actually when Im tilting at poker). Plus I would prob lose a bunch of money on it once PS4 is out, and I'll likely upgrade to that anyway.

If PC game is the same as console game, I'll just switch to that until PS4 arrives.

One thing that will be different is a bat**** crazy FUT market.

there was some kind of glitch on the PC version which rewarded players with match-coins if they quit right at the start and ea supposedly didnt give a ****

(this glitch completely ****ed over player prices and made it close to impossible to get games going, not sure if it is even fixed yet)

lol I think FUT is trolling me, knew we were just talking about chem. Just played a team that had like 40 something chem, red links everywhere, coach was the wrong formation,etc. Of course I hit the post like 3 times and he manages to score two goals from super long range shots where my GK got his hands on them but just pushed into top corner.

started absolutely sucking after switching to 4411 w messi so got toty messi and trying 4321 w him at ST. pulled nif neymar in a pack today and sub him in for if di maria. he feels like fastest/best acc player in the game tbh.

i'm just getting so sick of the handicapping/scripting one game will be absolute arcade feel and the next just super slow/lag players cant get shots off etc etc. like most inconsistent game ever and im keeping fitness/morale/etc to 99 every game. just no explanation for it.

also pretty underwhelmed with toty messi unless its one of the non handicap games and it plays in that arcade way and he actually dribbles around ppl. which is like 1/10 games.

so ya prob gonna be selling like 6m coins soon on xbox

chemistry doesnt seem to matter at all. i cant tell any difference playing an opponent with a random collection of players and a 100 chem squad.

the worst scripting imo is end of game corners. 90' corners in a one goal game score 90% of the time and there is nothing i can do. either it wont let me switch players to defend or even when i have thiago silva in perfect position their guy just jumps over the top of him for a header

Worse than that, you head the ball perfectly, timing is spot on and it looks like you made a perfect header, but the ball flies into your net and his forward reels away in celebration.

the 90th min stuff is so obvious it is not even funny

I shut down a guy offensively all game(didnt get a single shot away) but then in the 90th min fellaini suddenly skips past 3 players with ease(with crazy acceleration) so i rush my last defender in to block but fellaini basically blasts the ball trough him into the top corner


still not liking 3-5-2 so i changed it to midget FC

Uh, what exactly are your suggestions? A lot of my game is taking shots outside the box with space created by short passing and dribbling. Gerrard, Rooney and Johnson regularly crush 30 yarders in for me.

Rooney - 87 strength, 90 finishing, 85 long shots, 87 ball control, 84 short passing.

IF Gerrard is an absolute monster shooting outside the box. Long passing, free kicks, etc.

Cech - Long throw trait. Cheap. Never had any problems with him.

Luiz - Seriously?

Not sure why all the Adam Johnson hate. 4 star weak foot. 4 star skills. I score frequently with him from outside the box with his left foot. He scored a hat trick in my most recent D1 winning game. Great dribbling, pace, control, etc. The only better BPL RM IMO is IF Mata. Not dropping 400K on him.

And I'm just trying out IF Figueroa (best sprint speed at CB in BPL. Defending pace whores). Will probably get IF Koscielny soon.

Yeh I don't mind Johnson as a RM. obv doesn't have the Walcott Lennon abilities but suits 41212.

Also don't like Luiz. But yes plenty ppl do. Komps the obvious cb upgrade
