Messi is just redic in the game, i swear he does skills moves of his own accord, plus he is pretty strong despit his size...

never used Ronaldo tho as Neymar is just to good for his price at LM.....

there is a difference between in-game stamina and the stamina attribute

every player has an independent stamina value, it is a physical attribute.

http://www.futwiz.com/player-data/439

example, ronaldo is 87

http://www.futwiz.com/player-data/4525

bale is 90

the higher this number, the slower the player loses stamina (the blue bar) while playing a game.

fitness before a game is what that stamina bar starts at. they then lose stamina at a rate based on their stamina attribute.

This is correct. normal Pepe is listed at 75 stamina, checked him at HT and he had 97 stamina as a physical attribute same as fitness before the match.

marking was 87 up from 85, standing tackle 90 up from 88

why would base attributes go up ingame?

Is this whole fitness vs stamina thing a level that everyone is pulling on dkgo that I don't know about?

1. yaya toure has 93 stamina each and every single game that he plays
2. yaya toure could start a game with a fitness of anywhere from 0-99 every single game that he plays (depending how many games he has played since he last sat out a game or had a fitness card applied)

3. kaka has 54 stamina each and every single game that he plays
4. kaka could start a game with a fitness of anywhere from 0-99 fitness every single game that he plays (depending how many games he has played since he last sat out a game or had a fitness card applied)

Please note that facts 2 and 4 are the same for each player.

Facts 1 & 3 will point out that kaka will get tired quicker (in-game) than yaya. If kaka and yaya ran the same exact amount each game for 4 games on the 5th game you play w/ them (w/o a fitness card) yaya will have more energy than kaka.

If you apply a fitness card to both players (to get them both to 99 fitness) kaka will NOT be able to run as much as yaya (see facts 1 & 3).

Latest TOTW, notice the 80 fitness on each card, matches to every IF being reported as 80 stamina

Ronaldo doesnt work in a 4231 and not central in any formation
Thats a huuuuuge disadvantage

Genuinely think youre trolling me at this point.

Because Ronaldo doesnt fit into your preferred formation hes automatically worse than anyone who does?

Imagine hes released in CAM... Or just try being more objective.

Or you could just play a good form

Players are far more influential central so i would take messi over ronaldo even if he was slightly worse(with my style messi is probably better anyway)

If that would have been your arguement then I couldnt have disagreed.

Again though, debate isnt about any individuals preference, its about the community's perception of who is better in the game.

Ronaldo is perfect for quick transition(countering with space) while messi is perfect for tight/contested areas

most people play a style that is far better suited to ronaldo so they naturally prefer him

is there a way to like, get barcelona tactics applied to my FUT team? like barca does a 3 CM system but its more like a CDM and 2 CMs right in front of him, as opposed to the 3 man midfield FUT default where there is 1 central and the other 2 are kind of spread out. i basically want them all congested like barca would be in Seasons mode.

hey sorry if this is somewhere already, but just figured i'd ask here quick.

are there any good websites to tell me wtf i should be doing with the ultimate tema? im american and a casual soccer fan, so i know players on the big teams but dont really know **** about middle level players or formations..

any help would be appreciated..

You can make a custom form but Im not sure you can save it, others may answer. I think you can save for the session, but IDK if its still there the next time you load PS3/360.

Obv if you can, you just pause and load at start of each game. Not sure if it has any chemistry effects.

Google futhead and futwiz, those sites may have somne beginner guides, as might youtube.

Feel free to post noob questions ITT, most guys here would be happy to give advise.

Can I ask a question about beginner/low level FUT match ups? So, admittedly, I suck. I play a few hours here and there, don't trade on the online app, and am in Division 5 online (with mostly silver players, a few bronze and a couple gold).

Why is it that every other game I play online I'm matched against someone who has an all gold team and has CLEARLY spent dozens-to-hundreds of hours learning skill moves and is far better than I will ever be?

There is no matchmaking in ultimate team. A lot of people trade or play vs the computer first before playing online to get an all gold team. There are also people that play seasons a lot and get started in UT late so they would be in Div 5. Some people probably get new gamertags to own noobs too I would imagine, or deliberately get relegated sometimes.

Speaking of skill moves, which skill moves do you all use regularly/find most effective? I mostly just use the heel chop or whatever LT+Shoot+A is, the fake right/left (LT+flick stick L or R), and the rainbow flick sometimes for lulz.

I played a guy today that seemed to know every skill move and could dribble around my guys at will. I'm not sure which skill moves to learn next.

And how do you win headers at midfield that your goalkeeper kicks? Do you spam a certain button? Do you press it once and have to time it perfectly/hold it perfect time? Is it just tough to do? I seem to win most headers when their kicker kicks it out but very rarely win one from my own.

i cant really do any of them, but the 2 that are just impossible to defend against are heel chop and the scoop turn.

no idea on headers, been trying to figure that out myself.

I think the longer u hold it the more chanc of winning but I do try to time it to release on contact .

Re goal kicks I'd try passing it out, or a really short lob pass to someone open. I think headers from ur own gk are very unlikely to be won as their teams coming on to the ball, If u do go long try aiming your header sideways or back towards ur defence if u want to keep possession whilst someone challenges u in the air.

I agree with above that scoop turn ( especially the 5 star version) is hard to defend. Next skill move to learn doesn't need much skill. It's called changing lanes or changing tracks at least it used to be, basically just drags ball to the side. Good for when your running head on at defences and u can see one about to slide you, also good for changing the angles of through balls. Basic but effective

How do you do the changing tracks? I don't see anything with a similar name listed in the skill moves.

I use the McGeady spin mostly vs noobs with Robben to get to the left foot, sometimes roulette for getting past players and sometimes the (advanced) rainbow flick for the lulz

my Buffon struggles to make the easiest saves lately, is IF Marchetti an upgrade over Buffon? Thinking about trying him out since regular Marchetti is great in my fitness squad.

decided to do some trading, started with 20k, made 200k in like 3 hours, now i finally bought SIF Kroos, next stop SIF Alba & IF Chiellini
