hahaha I don't do much backline stuff but I have found that I play by far the most possession-oriented out of anyone I have come across in div 1. Barcaesque. It's not as exciting as NBA back and forth stuff but people are so bad at defending that they end up getting everyone out of position the more you play tickytack.

Hold down left/right, shot power halfway up, let go of left/right just after he starts moving. Best way to get it down is to practice in the penalty shot mini game for a few minutes. Doesn't take long to become expert.

Sounds like you do exactly what I do except I hold down the direction before pressing shoot since it is a little more difficult to press it after/while shooting. There is no downside to holding down left/right as you start the shot. All that matters is when you release it.

so whats the deal with player prices, I havent checked since TOTY came out (coincidentally broke my game disc right around them) but Maicon and thiago silva seem to be going for about the same price as before TOTY.

So wait till it's in the middle of green while holding down left /right, mid power my shot, let go of left/right when he starts to go for the shot?

And how do I defend penalty kicks? My guy just stands there and I feel like I've tried every button to get him to dive

I'm really confused. Is there something I'm missing here?

In game, Gerrard shows up as 9 chem. When I put him at RCM or CM, he shows up as 7 chem, which seems correct, but anyone seems to be 9 chem at LCM.

In the web app and in futwiz, it shows him at 7 chem in both positions. I have no idea why he's 9 chem.. any ideas? Same thing happens with lampard. So confused.

Really should have some sort of time out feature too stop people loading in idle. Wanted a quick game and its someone loading in with GKs up front CMs in goal etc and not even playing, well hes there now and scoring lots of OGs now to waste even more time.

any thoughts on the formation markets? I still have a ton of them left over from snapping them up during TOTY, wasnt sure if it was worth holding them longer?

re penalties i always do a chipped penalty like one foot of the ground straight down the middle, probs has like a 80% success rate

re penalties, aim hard and high through the middle, keeper has to jump up and nobody does that, my penalty score % is like 95+
