What tactics or custom tactics should I be trying out? High pressure seems effective, but my team runs out of stamina very quickly. Seems like my opponents use pressure tactics a lot of the time, but they don't seem to suffer the lack of stamina that I do. Against really good players I find myself reverting to a counter/ defense approach, with mixed results. Right idea, or should I be trying something different?

i feel like such an utter newb for not doing custom tactics in fut this year. holy **** i am ******ed. it's possible right?

ultra d counter attack to sweat it up. make sure to change your forwards workrates to attacking if they arent default

Just checked, Walcott has a Med/Med ... annoying! Doesn't even have the 'tries to beat defensive line' trait... Fastest footballer in the world doesn't try and beat the def line?!?

Been trying out some random stuff just to try new tricks. Found one that is pretty hilarious and gets people mad. I have IF Jones upfront, so at least a couple times a game from a goal kick I can have him head the ball down to the other ST, then do a quick lobbed through ball back to him for a chance on goal.

Then I have nani and valencia on the wings to swing in tons of crosses at him and balotelli, have aguero playing CAM to volley all the bouncing balls coming back out of the box, managed to win the D1 title with the team in only a couple tries. If I could get better at correctly powering headers and volleys I would be unstoppable.

I suck at dribbling. Help?

hadn't played fifa in ages. decided to do a player career since i never got very far in one. pleased to see ea still sucks monkeyballs and the game freezes vs a crucial match against mk dons every time with seemingly no way salvage the career.

A high percentage of his goals are from through balls so have no idea what you are talking about here..... Doesn't tend to get flagged offside a lot either.

games are super tough right nao - got curbstomped into division 2 and am still getting sliced up by 5* skill move wizards

I found my main error was sprinting too much. I would press the sprint button every time I got the ball, wherever I was. Using LT, or nothing keeps the ball a lot closer.

Getting good at a few of the skill moves can help in specific situations you come across, as can fake shot.

The main thing is timing and being aware of the space around you. The skill moves will take you in a particular direction and into a particular space, make sure its clear!

Not dribbling as such, but RB (letting the ball run past) seems to give the AI meltdown and causes all sorts of errors from the opposition, as does the fake shot.

Struggling myself at the moment. Gone from results being something like 6-2-2 to 1-4-5.
