just upgraded to toty casillas myself. usually i put ronaldo at LS robben RS, and ozil at LM, higauin RM, benzema CAM. or just switch higuain and ronaldo. trying to notice if that affects my teams play though, sometimes it seems it does. also only a few games in but not noticing much of a diff between toty and non toty casillas.so far if robben is really meh. not nearly as good as i remember him on my nif hazard and nif robben team from way back, one in which i couldn't lose. prob about to sell him and prob casillas and someone else to try the sif version. i just hate how ronaldo is basically only player who really stands out. might downgrade casillas, sell ozil, get toty iniesta keep him at cam and just switch ronaldo and higauin every game.

i love messi(normal one), first player ever to crack the 1+ goal/game with considerable sample for me(and that is with everybody concentrating really hard on messi + people disconnecting a lot after going down early)

what are people's favorite formations that involve atleast one CDM? Been using 3-5-2 for awhile and decided to try 4312 to switch things up and not having a CDM sucks so bad.

Di Natale is amazing. Balo is good. So far Di Natale > Balo > Ronaldo > Di Maria > Messi.

Messi is pretty much weaksauce, but I belive its a combination of me not being the best dribbler and this formation.

thats basically exactly what i was using except toty alonso and just thought messi sucked as st because no str etc. only had nif alves though who was still beast. kinda wanna try his toty actually i think for 41212 it would be perfect but for me lahm and sif alba aren't offensive *enough* (i know for lb/rb they are though)

kinda wanna try toty marcelo and toty alves and see if i start scoring more goals. meh would have to switch up team though.

I just sold off 700K on XBOX to this website. Got paid within a couple hours. Their prices aren't great (50£ per million on PS3) but it's better than nothing.

re: handicapping yes i do definitely notice it sometimes but at least it isn't NEARLY as bad as past years. it may also be bc i'm in d1 99% of the time facing other solid gold squads but it definitely does happen sometimes. it *could* possibly be the 80 stamina max for if players (is this confirmed true?) that i do notice in the 2nd half my players basically suck and most of my goals come in the first half. the most i notice this is pace/dribbling like for example when doing the roulette/mcgeady spin with ronaldo sometimes he does it sooo fast and others its really slow/laggy.

I am really struggling with fomation/tactics as someone new to soccer. I want to have strong defense and midfield. I start with defensive/counter attack so I can lag back, and take advantage of mistakes/people playing too fast. The problem is that I'm in division 3 and either winning 1-0 or losing 4-0.

I like the 4-4-1-1, which is what Im using, because I can pass up through the midfield slowly and attack in the final third. Most of my $$ has been spent on def and Goalie, except for Falco, who I found for 12k, which is unreal.

Thanks for the help. I'm below average at skill spots in the game, so I try to play more technical, and struggling to understand formations,tactics, or how I should be using them in comparison to how I like to play.

Not sure if you know this aspect of FIFA but, from when I've played 4411 sometimes the 2 attackers up top can end up isolated. So Falcao might get the ball near the opposition box a little to one side or the other, and you've got the CF somewhere near, but then it's all opposition players. What you can do is hit L1 and your teammates will run forward. If you end up with the ball and you're looking at a stationary teammate wanting him to get forward and create space, hit L1. Building off that, if you've got the ball with Falcao and L1+X pass it to a teammate, the L1+X will have Falcao pass it off and make a hard straight line run at the goal, so when you see a bit of space just L1+X to a teammate then hit it back to a forward-running Falcao a moment later.
