Ronaldo can dribble too, but hes got better physical attributes as well as size etc, plus heading.

Statistically hes better and if you held a poll of Ronaldo vs Messi strictly FIFA, Messi would struggle to get 20% of the vote.

If I could pick my opponent's formation pre-match I'm pretty sure I would always pick 3-4-3.

433 is much better but i find it a bit sluggish and boring. i'd like a little more offense as i'm basically going 3 on 4 and 3 on 5 the entire game. maybe i need to tweak the custom tactics as i haven't at all this year, or try something with a CAM. i really haven't experimented with any of the different formations this year.

lol you dont think it has to do with ppl sucking?? ronaldo is of course much better suited to ppl who can only do fast breaks and score 1v1s. that in no way proves he is a better fifa asset. nor does his price, which merely reflects the fact that so many ppl suck.

I too think Messi is fantastic, Ive had him every year and I reckon hes even better on this years game.

Also, like it or not Ronaldo has superior stats. He doesnt lose much in the areas Messi is best, pace, dribbling, etc, but he gains massively in physical areas.

I still think a poll of good players would still result in a Ronaldo win, not by as much as weaker players but I still think comfortable.




In other news, last night its 1-1 going into 2nd half of extra time, he kicks off, runs out wide, all my team push up like Im hammering offside trap, even the guy Im controlling runs away and he walks through, 3 forwards vs my GK and scores. Not the first time this has happened.

I always find ronaldo much harder to defend than messi, the fact he has a better weakfoot, better shot power and the long shot taker trait makes him so dangerous outside the box, and then he also has way better stats for heading inside the box. Also the difference in strength is huge, I seem to just be able to truck messi over with whoever I want, but seems like anyone except CBs bounce off ronaldo

Edit; In real life I would take messi any day, but really in FIFA when two players have such similar overall stats, having the extra height, strength and better weakfoot seems to make ronaldo obviously better.

no, it's really simple to check, look at your player's fitness before you start a game, then when it starts look at their in game stats, the stamina value will be what the fitness was before the game.
