I have around 60 most games, and my games are far from boring and I detest anyone that plays keep ball. I am constantly probing, but I dont hit many hit and hope lobbed through balls or hopeful crosses. I hit crosses when I see a striker getting the run on the defender and all my through balls and lobbed through balls are intentional so I am confident I can make them work.

Having said that all anyone ever does vs me is spam a through ball from 30 yards from their own goal, run through and score, so I should probably try it.

The cool thing about my style is that Ive got a pace abuse team, and the extra yard of pace in and around the box seriously kills opponents. Pace teams are not just for abusing long balls.

I've been trying to get my possession %age up so I can work on my technique to get to the point where I can beat the best players.

But by far the most reliable way to win ~7-9/10 games is to play with a pacey team, drop back on defense and literally have 35-40% possession. I would often win games by 5+ goals with those sort of tactics. But it gets old after awhile, and when you play against someone who isn't too stupid to adjust their play-style, your obviously going to run into more issues.

But if someone is stupid enough to just hold onto the ball with tactics set to attacking and drag all their players upfield , then by all means just sit back and destroy them on the counter even though you will have way less possession.

acceleration is very important(to get past players and get your shot away in tight spaces), sprint speed is beyond useless unless you sit very deep

thats why SIF cazorla is so amazing, meh sprint speed but great acceleration

is it safe to build silver teams before the upgrades or would you leave off them too ?

mata has very good acc too(high 80ies) and therefore is quite a lot better as CAM in the 4231 than someone like silva

lucas/di natale have very high acc(low to mid 90ies), a reason why di natale is my fav st(he has amazing ballcontrol/finishing too)

thiago silva is the only CB i know with acc in the 80ies(he is the best CB in the game imo)

el shaarawy has very decent acc and ballcontrol(very high 80ies) and he will probably get an upgrade so he might become a great option and alternative to di natale
