Just read on the Facebook FIFA page that you can get the game a week early plus an extra 24 gold packs by buying the ea season ticket for £20.

Pretty sure its only 3 days early, you get all the EA sports games 3 days early full download. Saved me money this year as i was planning on buying madden after reading lots of great reviews, then downloaded the pre-release and it was missing the best features from previous versions lol.

It also gives you like 20% of all DLC content for ea games (including packs on FUT) so if you spend much on packs its probs worth getting it.

FUT is not available in the pre-release version, or wasn't last year anyways.

Yeah FIFA 13 on the way really looking forward since Fifa 12 was the best Fifa game so far and I am playing since Fifa 96 :-)

For my team ( VfB Stuttgart 4 star team ) formation 4231 was always the best and this
is how my team plays in real life which makes it even more better and I always try to let the exact players play who played on the weekend this is just great ! I like to have 3 offensive players behind my striker that makes my striker score, score, score......
and since I now can play with Stuttgart only since the last Fifa makes it great before that you always was playing Barcelon, Manu and so on even if you had Stuttgart.... now Roma, Newcastle, Marseile and so an makes it good to play with a not 5 Star team !!

I am not sure if I liked the league system of Fifa 12 online mode so much ( I only play this game mostly online ) but somehow it was exciting if you move up and down the leagues.... never managed to get to league 1 only league 2 for me :-)

What I am definitely missing is the 2v2 ranked games !!!! Are there any news that this mode has made it back again ??? I really want to play together with my buddys for ranked games if this comes back GREAT !!

I'm trying to find a good formation that I like, I tried 4-4-2 due to recent posts here and I don't think its been working too good for me.

Just checked on my EA sports ticket thing, and it does come out a week early (for uk at least) is released on the 22 sept. Not in stores until the 28th i don't think, Would imagine that means the demo will be out next week sometime.

Precision dribbling yes, the huge speed burst which 4222 relies on due to the players being isolated quite a bit 433 with no ST Spain style will be the way forward in 13 IMO. Playing with no ST but a LF/CF/RF in 12 was hugely rewarding but required a custom formation

Is this available in Europe on PS3 yet?

pro tip for season ticket: don't buy it until the day the download is released. If the release date is a couple days earlier next year you should get two fifa's out of it.

Unless EA pulls some scumbag stuff I will have 2/3 early release days with the season ticket I purchased last year.

What happens now? I wasnt prompted to download anything, I got emails through to say TY for purchase and receipt for transaction but nothing else. Ive been into FUT and tried to buy a pack, no discount.

If you order online you get the game two days early usually anyway as 99% of games come on the Wednesday.

This seems like a ripoff.

Not if you spend money on DLC throughout the year too.

Yeah if you are gonna order it from play I would put the order in ASAP as what I was told they do is process the orders based on when they were placed so the people who ordered 6 months ago will have theirs processed before someone who orders it today.

That's why I order games sometimes a year in advance if they are announced then.

It's always a sick sweat on Wednesday morning while you wait to the postman though. Weird how I watch out for the postman if I'm expecting a game yet didn't even get out of bed for my exam results.

If pre-ordering, never pay for instant delivery.

If you order regular delivery, the carrier usually demands 5 days to deliver as default, then when they deliver in 3 days they are within their set timeline. So a game released on a friday will be dispatched on a monday, but will often get delivered by wednesday/thursday.

If you order with express delivery, your parcel will be dispatched on the thursday via express delivery to arrive on time(friday).
