Just have the 400 goals and 15 defensive accomplishments to unlock, and 0/50 on GK. Too bad I don't have the game skills to be the complete beast he could be, working on that though.

Not at home to check, but these are what I've done:

Arena 30/30
Ball Skills 30/30
Mental 30/30
Defence 35/50
Passing 50/50
Physical 30/30
Shooting 49/50
GK 0/50

Adding it all up it looks like 254/320 or 79%

The sliders make this so much easier than 11.

The defense just takes time, saving the shots off the line is pretty easy, and gives you +7 reaction, which is huge to your OVR.

Make a custom formation of 1-5-4, then make your pro a MF on a bad team. Then you play an exhibition match under "Be a pro" using your VP against a good team. Put the CPU sliders all the way up to 100 shot accuracy, then at kickoff run your pro into your net. Hold down triangle or Y to run your keeper out, and keep pressing Up-Up for the offside trap. Takes about 10 minutes if you're lucky. Remember to keep your player in the net, and always hit the circle or B whenever the ball is coming your way.

No, just let the opposition get the ball, shouldn't be too difficult for them. Then hold down the button to run the keeper out, he'll track the ball. Leaves only you in the net and no defender within 40 yards. The opposition will try to shoot as soon as they cross the mid-field line.

Yes. Create a player and preferably do a few challenges

It helps to be 75 or so instead of 68 but no big deal either way.

Feelin pretty smug with myself..

After drawing 0-0 in my 1st div 4 game and finding them much better at defending.. decided i would play bilyetdinov upfront. He is poor on the game but his shot power is 89 and his long shots 86.

Needless to say i won the next game 1-0 with him scoring a long range screamer

returned the game after renting it. not buying it, which is a little surprising given that i played a huge amount of FUT11 games and spent a lot of $$ the past year. i'm just pretty sick of EA as a company and yet another new batch of exploits and the crappier UT interface. plus this game sucks up a lot of my free time: one hour of planned gaming ends up being four hours. gl to all. glad you guys are enjoying the game.

Any tips for quickly levelling up defense and heading accomplishments. I never get even close to enough tackles since the comp is ridiculously tricky and then on attack they are morons about crossing the ball at the right times. Ugh. Most of my accomplishments that are left other than those will either be incredibly hard to get or will just take more games, which is fine, I just hate wasting time trying to get tackles.
