Neves + pace card is better than Ronaldo and Messi IMO.

Fred + pace card is the best all round striker Ive used, only top ST I havent used is Ibra, I bet hes good with added pace.

You can't believe how much this tilts me. Why do you need added pace? 80ish is more than enough :s

Any guy is good if they have 95+ pace.

I didn't say anything about your play style. I just don't understand why you need pace. IF Neves has high shooting & passing stats hes a playmaker i don't see how giving him 95 pace makes him any better. I kind of understand it a bit with Fred but i personally wish they'd take all these + stat cards out. You could make a 100k team give them all +10 att cards and they are better than TOTY players. Kinda silly imo.

Yeah, but doing that would cost you 11k a match which is almost as baller as owning the best players. Also, players have got loads of different attributes and I'm 99% sure the +10 all only effects the 6 attributes you see on the card.

Some players will still be slow with a pace card because their acceleration is so bad that they never get the time to get up to 90+ pace.

I might be talking outta my arse here, just the gut feeling I get when using attribute cards.

Adding +15 pace adds +15 to the sprint speed, acceleration, etc. So adding +10 stats actually ups all 25 or so in game stats. Its a bit of a joke.

yesterday fooled around and somehow manged to missplace a +10 stats to my rb walker in a meaningless game, lavezzi was still plownig by him on the right side with the ball, i was just WTF

question: if I sub in a player, do they recalculate his chemistry?

also werner gregoritsch as a manager is a must, since he ads so much WIM to your team you can almost feel it while you play!!

Just because a player has added pace doesnt mean I stop using him as a playmaker type, It just gives me that bit extra if theres ever a marginal spot in which I can play him in on goal. Which actually happens a fair few times in games. In my last 3 finals when Ive added pace cards to only 2 players, I have won 9-0, 5-0 and 5-1.

The bottom line is Im not in the top 1%, I cant own people with precision dribbling to the extent you can. Adding pace makes a major difference. On top of that it makes the whole experience far more enjoyable for ME. It might not be anyone elses cup of tea, but I love it. Running away from defnders with big Freddy, whos awesome in the air and has a fantastic shot from almost every situation(Ive scored some of the nicest finesse shots with him, and they are always right in top corner) is just really enjoyable for me.

Forgetting all of that, I still dont understand why you would care what I do with my team/players. I dont care a bit what anyone else does. Each to their own.


I get that feeling too, Neves and Fred still feel sluggish. Luckily both have amazing shots so just before they get caught Ive usually finessed it in off the bar


If you sub a player on, regardless of club/country/nationality/position/formation, he will be 9 chemistry(assuming you replaced a 9 chemistry player to begin with.

It gets a bit sketchy when moving players around the same team. I have Villa as CAM(RM 7 chem) in a 4222 and Messi as ST, I tried to pause and switch them at start of every game. My entire team would play like a bunch of rejects. If I made Messi CAM, put any BBVA ST up front, then subbed on both Ronaldo and Villa for my 2 STs, team had perfect chem and I had a freaking amazing side.

The reason it annoys me is because you clearly are a good player and resorting to having to put pace on a player is IMO very cheap but like you say each to their own. I have started playing alot more cheap as such as i thought **** it to scoring nice goals etc. No one every plays that way vs me they just do whatever to win so for my 1st 2 goals in a game, i get goals and i don't care how. Then after i'll resort back to skills/long shots etc.

But something i have done recently which has improved my game soooooooooo much is resorting to using slower players. If you really want to improve the fundamentals of your game make a team with your front 6 players all with less than 80 pace and see how different it is to play. It forces you to play alot differently and will give your fundamentals a much needed boost. After doing that for a bit go back to teams with a bit of pace in them and its a joke how much you can destroy teams.

I agree pace is better but it's not needed to the extent everyone believes it is.

I see your point and its def something I should think about. Especially since at clubs I get tackled quite a lot. It frustrates the hell outta me and Im sure it does you guy playing alongside me.

Although I do play sweaty at times, if its a close game Im gonna do what it takes to win. I am also guilty of showboating etc, rather finesse a shot as far into the top corner as I can rather than just go for the more efficient power shot to near or far post. Especially if it came after a nice passing move.

Im in love with Fred for his shooting more than anything else, he just seems to always get the perfect shot, Ive hit 3 pearlers in off the bar with him. I should save more goals.

Although his heading stat is high, I find it hard to use that effectively, which is strange because when I used Aguero, he got an amazing amount of headed goals. Maybe its game play style now, I rarely need to cross now because with Neves and Neymar Im coming inside a lot, and Pato/Fred rip teams open without the need for crosses.


Oh, and I made it to 700 wins, with exactly 200 losses, I think its 105 trophies, might be a couple more or less either way. I should play more poker...

most players i have played so far had sick teams but were on the level of div 7-9 h2h playing wise

I just had win No 600, 139 losses, I mainly play single match though so only 17 trophies.
You get all the players that try to con the game in single match. Full bronze benches, subbing 3 bronzes for golds at the start of the match, putting all their players in the wrong positions to lower chem then righting it when the game starts. I love thrashing these idiots. Reckon my record would be a lot worse if I only played tourneys.

I never play single matches. I played one once, it was lolbad, guy was borderline ******ed.

First 2 rounds are usually real easy, to the point where I dislike playing the first 2 games. Semis and finals are usually decent, with the occassional easy game.

Do you just play the advanced cup over and over then or build a new team for each of the featured cups? Being 4.5star, my team doesn't really fit into any of the featured cups.

I tend to only play the featured cups as most of my income is through playing games. And the advanced cup is only slightly ahead money wise than 4x single matches. Also i went through a spat of getting the loading screen bug even though you dont get a loss you lose all progress in the cups which is so tilting reaching the final only to get that.

I play the advanced cup or any other cup that doesnt have any limitations.
