I thought TOTY came out in May when season finished.

I still dont see them dropping value, theyve dropped so much already compared to when I bought them. Messi cant get any better as theres that 97 version out, Ronaldo has held value despite IF versions being released.


All the little forum kids that trade price fix any decent player, look at Dani Alves, they buy 20 of him and price fix him. They see any card a couple of thousand lower than the cheapest and they buy it and resell. Its hard for good players to actually drop in value once they hit a certain level.

The only reason they will drop more in the next week is everyone is trying to sell their teams for TOTY packs so everyone is under cutting each other. Then when TOTY packs hit people will flood the market driving the prices lower and people undercutting them so they can get more packs.

First season in div 1, get 14 points from the first 6 games and then draw the last 4 for the ultimate choke...sigh

Only problem is I cant use 433 to save my life. I concede average around 3 goals per game, I feel isolated when I pass the half way line, no passing options, passing channels are so easy to cut off, anyone who presses me crushes me basically.

Use 4321 then the 2 wingers are alot narrower and dont play as isolated.

So I am in a 16 team league on another forum and FML I get drawn PSG as my team. Seems like I can't get away from looking at them.

Need info about what players are the best and what position they play.

Im not isolated, I have so many options in possession now, I often have 2 players over now during counter attacks, one often has to leave it for other, lol

I just beat a guy with Aguero, Messi, Robben, Sniejder, Fabregas etc, 9-0

I havent come up against a real tough match yet so no idea if its better defensively but it sure feels like it. The whole team is so much more compact, hopefully this is it for me!

Does "Switch sides" not work with this formation?

I wanted to use Bale at RW instead of LW. By using switch sides at the biegging of the game but nothing seems to happen.

I am new to Ultimate Team so can someone answer a few stupid questions I have, please?

1 best way to accumulate points (online/ single player, tourney, single match)?
2 I dont have xbox live now, but am thinking about getting it just to play UT (no other game besides FIFA) and was wondering if it was worth the $40-$50/yr. Thoughts?
3 if i play online will i get matched with someone who has a team with similar player levels or a player that is as inexperienced as me?
4 i saw that certain managers give you a +3% in contract bonuses, but I was wondering if I could get more than +3% by having a few extra managers in my "club".
5 I saw this discussed earlier ITT, but are buying backs for sure -EV or is that people complaining and being results oriented?

1, Im assuming you mean coins, they are hard to come by. Trading for profits takes up way too much time. Playing games is the best way, but a slow process

2, Dont think we can answer this, its all about what you can afford to spend gaming, be warned that building a team is such a slow process that you will inevitably spend money on packs to give you a boost. It can end with you spending more than you planned.

3, no, its random, the standard is poor compared to a decent h2h division. Everyone now has a good team though.

4, I think so yea, but not sure. Even still its not much of a boost.

5, Packs are -EV, no question. Really hard to get lucky too. Coin prices have dropped though and on xbox they are even lower, you could buy enough to build a couple of decent teams for relatively cheap now.

I think LCM and RCM switched, which is useless.

Having a lot of fun being mega direct with Bale/Torres/Valencia though.

Then Hulk/Cavani/Lavezzi.

To the point where Im thinking of selling my supposed 'A' team with Ribery/Benzema/DiMaria... They are just not as much fun as the others.

Tbh you should just make 2 hybrids with the main players you wont so you can mix and match the best of both

One more Q: What is the point in making two teams when you can use all of your money on building one team? Or is this a case of "I have so many coins I don't know what to do with them....Oh, wait, I'll but another team!"
