anyone noticed their LB playing more like a CAM on UT?

ive used 4231 and 4222, and both times santos is getting in the way in the box every ****ing time i go to shoot, so annoying.

also my CAM on 4231 is on the left

Only used 4222 for more than a couple of games so cant really comment on 4231, except that I found it difficult to hold the ball up up front.

I feel like Evra/Enrique get forward for me way more than Sagna other side. Ofeten the LB is firthest forward, but not in the centre, always down left.

I'm guessing that this is because Evra's and Enrique's attacking workrate is higher then Sagna's ..

Far from how I'd usually play in any organized team was just with an IRL friend who hadn't played since Fifa 06 so we were both just ****ing around as he's still getting used to the game. I've been thinking about why we're not winning and i really feel we need to change formation. What's been happening in the 41212 is the CAM joins the attack so that's 3up front, the wingers push forward which leaves only one ball playing midfielder trying to anchor everything together. We have been good in most matches at keeping the ball but it is mainly around the middle of the pitch - mostly when we try to advance it's in fits and starts and we lose the majority of possession vs good opposition as we have very little in the middle of the pitch.

A 4231 could work very well though, with 2 players anchoring the middle so long as they're disciplined we can keep possession, protect the defence more when we lose the ball and have options in all areas of attack.

What do you guys think about this?
