Yeah the DLC for the Religion reform is the only DLC I'm missing, so I couldn't fullfill it if I wanted to. But the decision seems to be gone now anyways, so probably was just a bug.

Sigh very dissappointed. Feel like I was really unlucky again, as France got PU with commonwealth and took out Castile/Aragon. Then he also allied everything around me, GB and Mexico and I just had no way to break out of it in South America. Had to take out Africa, which were really low income provinces for me and didn't give much in manpower etc.

On Top of that GB always declared war on me taking a lot of my stuff in Africa, that I got back by supporting rebels and burning a fortune there.

On Top of that I got ****ed by multiple regency councils again, which cost me a lot of Adminpower as I had to dump it into ideas and tech that I didn't even want and which I would've used on coring if I couldv've gone to war more.

The European boys club was so obnoxious, as they were all allied with each other.

Rules question: If my colonial nation owns but does not have a core on province A, I believe it is the case that I cannot core an adjacent province B until the CN cores A. If I want to take province B, does that mean I cannot demand it in a peace deal until the CN cores A? Can I transfer the occupation to the CN and demand it on their behalf?

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but usually it's only about if it can be cored. Doesn't matter that it can not be cored instantly and that you have to core another province before hand as long as you eventually can core it.

This is a top 20 achievement of the internet. I don't say that lightly.

I use two forts to block the enemy army which is bigger than mine to attack me so I can take his isolated province with a fort that is also the wargoal. I scorch the earth and I get the advisor for +20% fort defense, nothing can go wrong with 40% defense vs 10%. I also start the siege three rolls earlier.

Then RNG happens.

Rule for game is no province without a port, only exception is mecca because mecca. Hamburg Bremen and Riga are marchs. My asian ambitions are unfortunately being stymied by malwa+ottoman alliance

lol this game was one big massacer. I was playing as Austria and I was obviously crushing, then I wanted to get HRE stuff back from Savoy who was allied with France and some minors.

I was allied with Lithuania and had all those PUs. Too bad GB and his colonies were just chilling on their island(even when he was at ~30% libertydesire). Spain took one fort of france and then just stood around with his army and did nothing as well.

So I was forced to surrender to France, gave him some stuff and then it was like 300k army vs 80k, but apparently all that stuff was in colonies of GB/Spain so I got my ass handed to me by savoy... and then the ottomans came knocking.

Pretty sad I prob would've forced Denmark into PU next and it was only ~1650.

New expansion

I'll be the first to admit I am very underwhelmed by the announced expansion. Seems the worst DLC so far, hardly worth it. To me, naval warfare is one of the most boring/tedious aspects of EUIV.

The missions "improve relations with elector" - gain 10% authority. What exactly do they give you ?

I have done this mission and I do not gain 10% Authority(like when the emperor dies and you get reelected). Is it just by whatever you gain, you get 10% as a multiplier? So when you gain 0.1 points a month you instead gain 0.11?

Was this patched? I've read that people get " Revoke the privelgia" super early like 1500s. I got it my game some time in the late 1600s.
