God damnit I've been playing chalice forever and now everyone knows it =(

Also the game is now 100% unplayable on my laptop grumble.

With Chalice or the 50-power deck?

Chalice has me ~60% winrate or so right now, but I didn't play enough games that I think that statistic is significant. I am using I think the LightsOut version of the deck with the Mystic Ascendant's and Channel of the Tempest.

Chalice is also extremely effective if you need to kill the Gauntlet Boss for a quest.

Yeah it weirdly works better on my iPad than on my Mac. Not aware of any new issues though.

I was just running a basic chalice control deck. I guess my mistake was always running xenan obelisk in it too because of all of the cheap time critters + scouting party/owls

Obelisk breaks your ability to Chalice your units because it pumps your units up and out of the 0-2/x range.

The deck is all about drawing cards and making your opponent go "HOW THE **** DOES HE HAVE A 4TH DESERT MARSHALL, **** THIS ****" *table flip*

I think this was a pretty strong draft

That's a really heavy top end for a feln deck. For example, I'd much rather have a second jarall's frostkin than either the bat or the dragon so you can more reliably maintain tempo. But overall you should be pretty successful because you have plenty of ways to get rangers in on T3 and somehow have two umbren reapers in draft.

Who wants tempo when you can drop double reapers? Back to back picks baby

Got it to 6-0 but eventually 7-2.

Should add I think you were right about the top end poppa. Got stuck at 5 power a few times and couldn't play anything, luckily was able to hold out for the win but had to use storyteller and discard a couple 6-drops (figured I could possibly dark return as well)

15 power is not enough at all. I usually run 18, which this deck also seems to need.

Ya I have learned to run 17-19 power in my draft decks, made some cuts that aren't pictured. I have been using Discord which has helped my drafting a lot.

Yeah interest is certainly down so I hope the next set reinvigorates the game. I still play a lot on my iPad but it's definitely gotten stale other than drafting, which is always exciting for me.

I got bored of drafting this set. Nice side effect, I have ~40k gold saved up to draft set 2.

I mostly just play on my lunch break, clear some quests, and am saving up shiftstone/gold for the next release.

Whether the next set will come out soon enough to stop me from just completely moving on to something else stands to be seen.

One thing I'll give this game is that the meta is still changing, though unfortunately it's now cycling more than innovating.

They are testing the new Events tab this weekend. Basically a PvP Gauntlet to 7 wins or 2 losses. Doubt anyone needs the cards at this point but the rewards are insanely generous.

This weekend, the Omens of the Past Preview Event lets you do battle with spoiler cards and earn Omens of the Past packs before release!

This Preview Event comes with a twist: you'll need a deck containing ONLY cards from the new Omens of the Past faction pairs, and you'll get to play with the newly spoiled cards!

The Preview Event will start on Friday and run all weekend.

I was able to reach master in ranked this month. Really excited for the new set. Of course, I spent all my shiftstone to make a legit deck for this month so I'll be behind again, but that's ok. New cards seem sweet and I'm excited to get back to brewing weird decks.

I played the event this weekend and got a ton of packs, including 15 thanks to a bug, not that I needed any. Think they are going in a good direction

Yeah I still find it fun to snag master every month and it's pretty easy once you have a full set of legends.

Big combrei is still decent, as is elys with shimmers. Everyone's playing RG and Armory.

Funnest decks I've enjoyed lately is my own brew of Dark Clockroaches with lots of removal and a couple 7/8 drops that does surprisingly well. Mono purple and mono time are both fun with the new promo card too

Single faction event this weekend is pretty fun for at least the five runs to establish your leaderboard position. Even got to see the elusive Timekeeper in play.

I never said this about any game ever before and I played hundreds of thousand hands of poker of hands of poker. Played hearthstone and this very successfully but this game is rigged.

Rigged as in it wants certain people to win or just non random?
