This game is going to be so sick for the PC but I don't have the $$$ to drop 1500+ on a gaming PC when I don't even game that much anymore. I guess I'll have to go with the XBOX version.

how much will game experience vary for different races?

this will be my first elder scrolls game and i'm trying to figure out a class/race combo

From everything I've read, not a much. It's more aesthetic as well as a difference in starting stats/perks.

Keep in mind that there are no real 'classes' like you and I know them. You don't choose to be a 'warrior', 'mage', thief, etc. You might play a playstyle and choose perks and skills that help you play as one of those type of classes, but there is no pre-defined class. You can be a huge, slow, hulking orc thief, for instance.

I assume you know that already, but trying to clarify.

seriously tho, this game doesnt even need mods. its not like other bethesda titles where theyre absolutely mandatory; vanilla already has it all.
