Didn't see this and I assume you are referring to cliff racer and not hive defender since its basically a 5 mana kokron.

But yes, its cliff racer is of the strongest cards in the game imo. Funnily enough, so is hive defender. Lots of really strong 5 mana green cards in general, leaflurker and thorn histmage are also probably in the top 20 strongest cards atm.

Green also has some ridic 2 drops thinking about it, goblin skulk arguably best 2 drop, mournhold probably top 5? And fighters/thieves guild recruits are both amazing too.

Yeah Cliff Racer.

One thing that is a very tangible difference is the lack of hero powers, especially Mage/Rogue/Druid, plus no Fiery War Axe type weapons, so you don't have easy pings for half the classes. It makes the game much more minion-combat oriented, and I like it.

Lightning bolt is pretty ridiculous, especially since it's a prophecy as well.

I need some friends to view because I think it's the only way I'll learn this game. Haven't found a streamer I find compelling; CVH is great in his YouTube vids but he talks too fast or glosses over stuff he probably finds ridiculously obvious.

charm3r does a pretty good job of breaking **** down in his videos imo, plus he brings the SALT to his games at near-reynad levels.

BradfordLee is the **** imo. Hilarious and informative. He does deck doctor on Mondays too so I'd tune in tonight for sure.


Also I got THREE 600g drops since yesterday. So many packs.

I got 1200 gold and 300 soul gems since linking. pretty sick.

It makes me angry at HS for being so greedy with products that cost them nothing.

I've been getting 4-5 wins in vs. Arena but seem to hit a wall. It's been 4-5 wins with decks I thought were good and with ones I thought were terrible.

Are you playing VS arena or Solo?

VS rewards are better and from what I've seen it's a bit easier, at least lately.

I've gotten like 1 full run in on Solo. There's always one deck that's nearly impossible to beat before the boss, or the boss himself is impossible.

For like 4 days straight now I've played nothing but VS arena because I legit cannot rise above rank 4 no matter what. I try ramp scout ---> token decks run me over. Try a token deck ----> draw poorly and get run down (also I'm missing key legendaries like Daggerfall)

I'll probably just stick with arena going forward, drops have dried up almost completely (for me, anyway) and there's no telling when I'll have 3600 gems again.

why not just do token crusader if you want to do token? Requires ~0 legendaries. Doing token mage with no daggerfalls is pointless since that and wardcrafter are pretty much why you are playing token mage over other token decks anyways. Can easily sub black knight in for any legendary needed in crusader if you don't have it too. Pretty sure even token spellsword with minibot and young mammoth would work better than a daggerfall mage-less token mage too.

I've been getting dumped on playing token crusader. I can't win 2 in a row. Been stuck in the snake thing for a while. Just trying to hit r4 but I'm stuck at 5.

It was on legends deck. Like CS token crusader. I swapped the two 0 drops for another cheap card and have -1 housecarl +1 eastmarch

Yeah not the biggest fan of that one, i really like cloudrest illusionest, looks like that guy dropped them from his list due to facing lots of control mage at high legend, but there aren't a lot of those at ranks 5-2 from climbing.

Getting to rank 9,5, and 1 will get you copies of the monthly card.

However I would strongly advise trying to get to rank 8 and 4 if possible, because after the next monthly reset you'll only move back one rank, those are the key ranks you need to achieve to avoid a big reclimb the following season.

archer deck that just ran over everything

I crafted Ungolim and Vigiliant Giant.

I don't know if Vigilant is considered good or not, but it seems strong and cool, and it's in a deck with Thieves Guild Recruit.

Vigilant is a really good card that sees very little play. Its too slow for red based aggro decks, too slow for more classic midrange archers, and slower warriors aren't really a thing (although maybe with the new card ramp warrior is a thing?). Its in some rage based archer decks though since it cycles itself, has breakthrough and high attack to combo w/ rage, and can get the cost reduct frm TGR.

Unfortunately its fairly expensive but you get astrid and garnag for free from dark brotherhood, brynjolf from the pre-constructed deck, and a few copies of the epics from the story mode, pre-constructed decks, and leveling up.

Also not sure what level you are but you get a free vigilant giant at lvl 20 when your dude evolves/upgrades into one.

Ungolim used to be in every green deck ever because he was as 2/1, as 1/1 its harder to find a spot for him in non-lethal/rage lists.

Ungolim still seems really strong and a sick value card for a deck that needs cycle and removal.
