Egh. In the last 2.5 days I've gotten a 100 gold and dust drop.

Yeah mine has dried up too. Over the past 3 days I got like 100 gold once.

I haven't been in the streams as much now that it isn't consistent, it does seem like the gold rush is over.

Arena in this game feels like breeze compared to HS. Just went 7 3 times in a row.

Arena has a lot more casual players. Since the rewards are much better you have a lot more randos in arena.

Very few casual players play arena in HS.

Small sample but it feels like there's less variance. I haven't just been blown out of too many games. In HS arena you can just lose by missing a 2 or 3 drop.... a lot.

I haven't seen this mentioned itt, a site like TS that does meta snapshots for the game

Note that their list is wildly out of date at the moment.

hey SJUD how experienced are you with ramp scout? I was looking for some pointers on a couple of builds I'm trying

I've played it a bit myself and am very experienced to losing to it with Control Mage. Post a list or some ideas and I'll let you know what I think

Okay this is the first build I've been toying with

Not pictured: 1x Alduin and 1x Paarthurnax

This is the other one

The first one is obv dragon based and I've read I really should have Nahagliiv but since I'm getting 50 gems every 3 days rather than 1500 I can't afford him at the moment. The second one is more thrown-together, it was a joke quest deck I threw together and then tried to improve upon. I love the Iron Atronachs but they don't seem to fit with the dragon deck.

How would you improve these? Or are either of them good to go as is?

Deck number 2 should just be deleted so I'll talk about the first one.

I think you're running too much early game in the list. I would cut the Midnight Snacks as they are the worst of the 2 drops you have. Getting 2 more Hist Groves is very important but I'm guessing that's a budgetary issue. I don't like Alduin either as it never has seemed very necessary to actually win the game. If you get to the point where you can cast it, the games probably over anyways.

-3 Midnight Snacks
-1 Alduin
-1 Dovah

These are listed in the order in which you should craft them.
+2 Hist Grove
+1 Woodland Lookout
+1 Nahagliv
+1 Leaflurker/Shadowfen Priest

Eventually you'll also want +3 Skeletal Dragon but you can wait on those for now.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be saving my pennies

I wonder if I have useless legendaries at this point. I know I have several that I've never used.

It's easy to build good decks on a budget you just have to steer clear of those decks that have lot of non-unique legendaries.

For example Control Mages run like x3 Daggerfall and often times x3 Supreme Atromancer. Blue is the most expensive color out there right now, thanks largely to those two cards.

Those are the decks that are outrageously expensive.

You can easily build legend quality decks at like 1/4th the dust cost that feature 1-2 unique legendaries.

Even with the changes to drops I've managed to get the entire expansion and all the pre-made decks in like 2 weeks if not less. They're super generous. If I played more arena I'm sure I could build a competitive deck soon but I've mostly just been doing quests and hoarding drops.

The thing that irks the **** out of me about Daggerfall Mage is that it isn't even THAT good of a card. There's no reason for it to not be an epic at most.

I've found ramp scout to be the most expensive deck, but that's because most of those builds contain actual good legendaries but lots of them.

I've been stuck at 5 for a week now. Finally started winning some games again after several days of not winning any, but I get to the boss and lose every single time.

Also do "bonus rounds" end at rank 5? I haven't gotten a single one since I hit 5.

Well I apparently only hit 600g drops. Is the madhouse collect worth it? Or should I just grab 15 packs?

I bought all of the premade decks, they're worth it even if you already have most of the cards. Not sure if any of the mad cards are worth having though.

Has anyone else experienced the guy who calls himself "CHARM3R" on Twitch or Youtube? He does these pretty-decent strategy and deck videos, they're all Kripp-style where he starts off explaining the deck and card choices in the first half and then the second half is him playing the deck in games. His in-game persona is night and day from the intro segment. He may be the saltiest player in any game I've ever seen. Check him out if you haven't, it can be hilarious.

Daggerfall is either the best or 2nd best card currently in the game. The value you get from it is absolutely insane.

Charmer primarily streams in the middle of the night and is hilarious. Would definitely recommend him if you're awake.

Yeah I mean daggerfall is a 3 mana minibot that draws you a 4 mana buff that itself draws you a card. Few things can deal with it cleanly, and usually at worst it goes 1-1 while drawing you 2 cards, at best it kills something, lives to get buffed next turn by the buff it generates, and now its a 4/4 that draws you another card all for 1 card. Plus the wardcrafter synergy means you can sometimes get even more value out of it.
