OK, so time for me to **** up some predictions.

Nintendo- Hmmmmm, seems kinda like we're a lock to see Metroid 4, new Smash bros, and something involving Pokemon. So other than that I go out and say Nintendo actually releases some kinda of usable voice chat on their online network, which they will go into greater detail on this year, and it won't involve a ****ing cell phone. Also I will say that Smash bros Switch, will be called Smash bros Switch and will come out sometime this year. And for my last one, and this is a lock, Nintendo will have the worst presser of anyone at E3 but somehow come out of E3 with the most hype going foward.



Microsoft- How about you guys come up with some games that people want to play, don't cancel them before they come out, and make them good? Too much to ask you say? Prolly. So heres the free one, Forza, Halo, and Gears all show up this year, with Halo looking godlike in 4k, Forza looking like it always does and Gears kinda gets left off to the side. Microsoft will announce a new Ninja Gadien game. The o/u on "4k" being said during their presser is 26, and I'm taking the over. Splinter cell will be shown for the first time during MS's presser, it will look good. No matter what Microsoft does people will say they were the worst of E3 this year, prolly because they will be the worst of E3. Oh and they will cancel at least one game E3 week.

Sony- Our boy Professional Poker, will produce a great show for Sony and they will have the best presser of all the big 3. There will be more than 4 games "no one" saw coming that will get announced during their press conference. Obv TloU 2 gets a release date. We get to see more of Death Stranding, like 5 mins worth, and by the end of the trailer no one has a clue wtf the game is going to be about, still. Days gone will get screen time, it will suck. Almost no indie games will be at Sonys presser, and everyone will be better for it.



Side note, I'm acutally looking forward to seeing Borderlands 3, and Crackdown 3. And litterally as I'm writing this it looks like Crackdown is delayed............................

2018 = Nintendo > Sony > MS

Looking forward to Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The Division 2, and Hitman 2. Also Cyberpunk 2077 and Beyond Good & Evil 2 but neither seem likely to come out anytime soon.

I'll take any CD Project Red RPG, been thinking about replaying Witcher 3 recently.

Already preordered the PS4 Spider-Man game weeks ago.

Hopefully the Square Enix Avengers game will be revealed.

I only want to go for 2 reasons: The Last Of Us Pt2 and to test out the Scuf Vantage PS4 controller but $250 is too pricey for just that. I don't like Xbox controllers, but I can't play without a Scuf. If it was pure PS4, I'd already have pre-ordered, but I need to feel it in my hands. I'm guessing a release date for TLOU2 that will get delayed and make it 6 months past what they say. Days Gone was psyching me up for a bit, but I'm not so sure its going to be as good as I thought. Seems like it'll be low-rent version of a few different games. The delay is probably a Battle Royale MP mode since apocalyptic-type settings are perfect that mode.

Borderlands 3 and The Division 2 I'm looking very very forward to though. But I'm guessing they're a ways away. I think Borderlands 1&2 and The Division are top 5 of my most hours put in to.

In for Fallout 76, Farming Simulator 19, Rage 2, maybe Valkyria Chronicles 4 (why no PC version, the original remaster sold like a million copies), Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Exodus, and the new Ori game.

Have you read the books? My current re-run of W3 is def more enjoyable after I started reading the books (well, still ongoing).


As for E3, the only game I look forward to is the new Fire Emblem and hope that it is similar to Radiant Dawn.

Bit of a dud from EA tbh Anthem hype severely deflated

Premium version of EA access announced (PC only so far I think?), $100/yr for day 1 new releases / library of 100 games, similar to Xbox Gamepass

Madden coming to PC is interesting. Origin Access Premier might be good as long as you play 2 AAA EA games/year.

People might argue that this way they won't own the games, but let's get real. How many of you actually end up playing something like Battlefield 4 year after it came out after being able to play it for a year already?

Oh look battlefield 5 has battle royale mode....... sumother****ingprize. But it'll will become standard for l fps's imo.

I don't understand all the hate towards standalone BR's or when they're included in other games.

If you don't like the game mode, don't play it. It's that simple.

Yeah I'm all for as many BR modes as possible, I'm very happy we're getting a BR from both CoD and BF - chances are they will be quite different from each other and there's a possibility one of these many new attempts may actually be good!

it's kind of a bummer to be a gamer with no interest in multiplayer shooters. feels like being a film fan with no interest in superhero **** - although there's other stuff out there, it seems every year more resources get poured into making more of the same type of game with less attention paid to everything else.

Don't sleep on Cyberpunk 2077, the guys who made Witcher 3 are a solid team.

Couple hours away from MS conference and from what I can tell nothing has leaked, so thats nice. I always like to go into these things without knowing whats going on. Hopefully the same for Sony tomorrow.

Yeah but the bear side is that they've never made anything that wasn't a Witcher game and if they are doing that game right there's gonna be driving and shooting and hacking and all sorts of **** they never needed to even think about before. Trailer looks incredible, but it's all just inengine cutscenes.

Also this is a little thing and probably just a Polish vs. Western divide but that sort of industrial electronic music they had for the trailer isn't right at all, they need some synthwave. I don't think the Poles ever got into that stuff though.

Anyone think Vault 76 ships in November? Maybe as Early access?

Also, elder scrolls 6: no title necessary looks very well fleshed out. >.>

I'll be no-life'ing The Division 2 without a doubt. I haven't played a Fallout since 2 on my old iMac, but the new one is looking amazing as well!!
