i was really enjoying riki. getting to constantly gank or teamfight was fun. then they nerfed him to ****. Cookie is really fun and affective; 9-1 so far. Void spirit is unstoppable but im not skilled enough and am 0-something. anyway point is im having fun finding new heros to spam.

Yea rtz hero pool is not looking great these days. A top-tier middle > carry position imo.

I haven’t played a match of dota since the patch. I had played dota basically every day for years before that. The neutral items look like the worst idea of all time. Maybe I’ll try a game after I finish Purge’s video.

It's pretty much the same game except there is a reason to go in the jungle now. Only 3 items drop for a team at any tier level and jungle creep gold is still way worse than lane creeps. Most carries slot 1 jungle item and supports will get the left over items which is usually nice.

The biggest change honestly is the outposts and which heroes are good in the meta. If you don't control an outpost and are losing at 20 minutes the game will end quickly. Scaling to lvl 30 makes it much harder to come back and the games tend to end before 45 minutes even in the lowest rank games. Also Carries get 6slots faster and controlling the jungle in the late game is more impactful (teir 3-4 items) so that tends to end things as well.

All in all every position is a little more fun to play in my opinion. Sometimes the roles queue sucks when people need fast queue games and playing carries as offlaners or putting 0 effort in when they get support etc.

I've never been so proud in my entire life, official zen master or some ****. In before S tier mindset coaching.

He"s top 10 now (dnm)

Congrats! That's awesome.

Looking him up it looks like some former teammates were involved in match-fixing and he was like "**** that" and won the game 3v5?? Badass.

Damn thats awesome. It sucks that the pro scene is kind of stalled out right now but hopefully he keeps climbing and gets on a top team. Also NA is in a bad spot right now, maybe PPD will captain a new team and pick him up .

That’s incredibly impressive. Congratulations! When you say T1, do you mean a tier 1 team, or this Korean organization?

I am. Pretty happy he followed his deam and made it. Hopefully now, he can make it to the International. He's 17, so still pretty young and still improving.

Thats wild. Been betting a lot of the pro dota series and at least 1 game was cancelled in bets due to throwing.

makes me wonder at these tiers how much cheating/throwing of games happens like so blatently.

amazing clip tho i was like waaaaaaah so cool

It was pretty crazy to watch live. IIRC the first guy disconnected they waited like 30 minutes until the pause period ended and when your boy was still soloing the entire other team the 2nd guy DC'd. lololol

So many sketchy pauses happen in SE asia region right before team fights, I can't believe anyone bets on this ****. At best tactical pausing, at worst dota mafia calling the team fights. Reminds me a lot of boxing in the late 90s early 00s before everyone moved on to MMA.

Apparently there's someone going around griefing games in ~3-4K by the name of POKERBROSAGENT, then challenging people HU4ROLLZ @ 25/50 and namedropping 2p2 after getting mass reported. Which of you is it?
