The greatest trick the dEEvil ever pulled was convincing the world he was good at Dota.

No but seriously Fnatic knocking on the door of being a T1 team. I'm really impressed by their teamwork even when losing by a lot, so many teams just suck at giving it their all or envisioning clever ways they can still win fights and then pulling it off. Wings was amazing at this, Liquid is really good at it too.

Just realized that 4 teams were eliminated from this tournament after only playing a bo1 and a bo3. How the hell is this a major? And then they have only 6 teams advance to the final bracket? This is what I would expect out of a minor.

Meh VP should have won all 3 games handily, EG with some epic team fight in game 2 got them out. Game 3 was just a full on stomp. VP was gonna beat them sooner or later, oh well.

EG sacking Fear's pretty hard and duo/tri with sumail. Didn't see the draft game 3 but presumably VP took Fear's DP in the 1-3 picks? He looked so bad on her game 2 but noticed game 3 that they did not really help him at all. Was kinda crazy when he tanked that 4 man gank, to dragon tail into walk away at level ~5.

Pretty cool series, eg looked pretty decent this tournament overall, drafting was noticeable better

Game 1 I think eg had a chance but was outexecuted in several areas, also fear on ursa was quite bad, didn't even get rosh which is one of the main points of the hero

Naga is a tier 1 hero right now and is somehow making it through every draft. Liquid is getting beat by a single hero right now.

VG secret strat revealed WAOW

Underlord seems too OP if the enemy has no pure damage... perhaps Axe or Silencer (maybe Huskar too, insane magic damage and outlane) instead of Ursa for Liquid last pick... Timbersaw would have been best but VG banned it. Bet GH wished he was on KOTL that game, the blinding light is so funny/good vs UL ult

Whoa is Fnatic VP up next? What a day of Dota if so

Liquid didn't seem to do a huge amount wrong, Vici just held really well after they lost the first lane and then once Alch was huge the cores were just unkillable. The only things that were maybe questionable were no Aghs on Pugna and no Spirit Vessel on the team.

Yup, fanatic still has a lot of wtf drafts, makes winning seem impossible, very good tournament from them nonetheless

Vp has looked amazing
Secret probably had the worst tournament of top tier teams

Maybe I am underestimating the impact of the weird format, hard to think both vg and fnatic make top 4 in a slightly slower bracket

Yeah in lanes, I dunno about after that. VG sent a +1 with UL vs Ursa and Ursa got shut down in lane that game

Not sure why VG didn't ban Chen or Gyro vs VP, I guess they thought they could deal with it.... Really really hoping Gyro gets a nerf for the next patch. His missiles are just insanity and probably uncounterable, it's actually not really fun mechanic at all... Maybe if they were not spell immune and could be stunned/etc. then they wouldn't be as bad.
