On balance, valve should probably adjust it somehow - while you do want to reward organizations for stability you don't want to punish players for trying to be the best

I was watching the optic vs fnatic last night. Sumail was on panel and hilarious all cast. So many flames for envy, saying he could only play from 2 rax down.

Fear to mid WTF really? I actually find this to be the most surprising part of this announcement, would not expect old man Fear to play such an important core role especially after his previous injuries. Will be very very interesting to see if he is able to compete with the other Tier 1 mids.

Sad for Universe but no doubt he won't have a problem finding another high caliber team, if he wants to. Sumail to offlane also quite interesting, I suppose he is used to getting 3v1 in lane so perhaps he will be good

Wow. It looks like a move in the right direction. Sumail should be fine in any role and the current meta doesn't really play to his strength with frequent support players babysitting the mid so often. Misery is a good choice for a captain and might be able to replicate some of the ppd-style sucess. Fear will get exposed pretty quick if he's not up to snuff at mid, its pretty likely there will be more changes to the roster in the intermediate term, we'll see.

Universe was being misused for sure but his timing on entering free agency is quite good. There won't be much competive dota for the next month so a lot of teams will get the op to consider him (assuming he wants to keep playing).

considering arteezy was always better as a mid and fear was one of the best position 1 of all time with no mid experience.

Heck even the sumail part is crazy. He plays support sometimes in pubs but ive never seen him play offlane. hes 100% fine on heroes like brew and timber and **** but how is he gonna play the beastmasters and tide and void?

Arteezy will mid almost for sure. The converse makes too little sense.

Sumail is talented enough to adapt to offlane I would imagine but it might take some time.
