They went carry jakiro vs DC and it was really awesome. Carry omni makes more sense to me than carry jakiro on a superficial level.

Abed carrying EE like a sack of potatos every game against TNC. Abed was basically soloing their whole team yesterday.

Game feels weird with no PMS. I propose they make some more things that stout shield builds into. Wraith band has been missing a melee upgrade path imo, and would be a pretty good place for a new PMS. With wraith as a component, would make a lot of the stats fairly weak for str characters and still couldn't be bought at the side shop.Also think that they should take out the recipe from buckler, and replace with stout. Leave the aura and the active the same, just add the damage block. Seems like this would be a nice to boost melee supports.

Went like 2-0 in herald 5 bracket games but i guess the matchmaker didn't like my APM or something (I probably didn't kill steal enough). So then it gave me 8 games with players playing their first ever dota games and were surprised that I lost half of these. Calling bull**** on these placement matches just like the ones from the last IR. Pretty much gave everyone I know exactly the same mmr. Not heard of one person that jumped more than 500 points.

WTF MM'er?!? Every party queue calibration game has at least 1 Divine in them - feels like everyone is playing on completely different level. I'm so lost i can't even win with OP NS.

Not tryin to be a dick but I'm pretty sure your gutter MMR is well earned at this point. Really not an insult as I'm trash tier myself but you've played enough dota at this point, your skill level seems pretty locked in.

Also played a few party games and was kind of amazed some of the plays suggested, that I didnt think of. Someone suggested to me during said party games. So basically ya I agree with you and there are a lot better players than me. That said I don't think I am a herald 3 where I was placed.

Team secret looks really strong right now, if not a tier 1 team probably the best of tier 2

I also don't have any faith in eg as constructed, I don't think crit or fear are that good but I could see rtz going just because sumail and he never had great core synergy / awkward drafts for way too long

Edit: its also pretty shocking that w33haa never got back on a decent roster

I think both Fear and Crit are very good individual players, what EG lacks (and has been lacking or a while) is a good captain

Not a great major....Liquid and Secret were just so much better than the low tier teams.

Also not the biggest fan of the new format with less teams and shorter tourneys. Feels so much less exciting than last season.

I sort of agree with you. The hype isn't there for some reason. The minors are nothing tournaments and majors feel like what minors should be. Majors should be like Valve events of old. Or even that amazing MLG speed gaming one (GOAT non TI LAN).

The first two Majors were pretty lackluster, but I think a lot of it is because they were tournaments that had already gotten announced/space reserved before the new system got put in place.

The next two coming up have 16 teams instead of 8 and are supposed to be longer/have a real group stage.

I think vp is also pretty good, they didn't have a great major and probably beat eg in a best of 3 more times than they lose.

Game 1 was ridiculous, core kunka and needing to mantain a huge kill lead just to keep it even

I wonder if going from playing a best of 3 losers bracket to a best of 5 championship back-to-back is just too big a disadvantage due to mental fatigue, felt like secret styled on them too hard

if anything its not a big disadvantage enough, most esports have way more rigourous finals for double elims.

in dota theres no number advantage, in most esports, you have to win two bo3s (or a bo3 to reset then a bo5 grand finals). Or you start down one game
