Hope they move to 2 majors + TI instead of 3 majors. The Shanghai major coming right after Chinese New Year celebrations doesn't work if Valve wants a competitive high level tournament (Chinese teams have no time to practice).

from what ive heard the celebrations last over 3 weeks and most chinese dota players just play dota during that time lul

I really dont get how they fail getting visas. Why aren't they applying for them earlier so they have more time to manouver if things go wrong.

whoa sand king caustic deals 50% dmg upon expiration. 45-110 magic damage guaranteed per auto attack hit on a passive, thats actually insane. not sure when this changed but i see why the hero is so strong now

jeez it was 6.85 and he got small buffs every patch since then too. probably OP now since IF keeps buffing heroes until they get noticed, even if they're OP

TIL kunkka is amazing against slark since for some reason X marks actually isn't purgeable with dark pact. other non-ultimate catch/disables that also are unpactable: ensnare, glimpse. not too many

Rooting for OG -> liquid -> MVP -> escape/col in that order.

I'll do a lot of betting also, this year I have betted around 100k for dota matches with +7% roi. Already got around 2,5k in the international prob bets.

Obviously love watching the games also.

I'm probably rooting mainly for NaVi cuz I think Dendi is a great ambassador for the game and all the videos of him have shown him to be a real class act and good guy. But other than that, my main hopes are for a competitive grand finals, and some unexpected picks [I think pudge is legit this meta. Many of the pros have said this is a fighting meta not a farming meta, and pudge has seen multiple buffs. Also, I'm sure many teams have not practiced playing against pudge much] and strats throughout the event so that the games don't all start to look the same, since there are a LOT of games.

i guess this is obvious since MKB doesn't give true strike on buildings but if tinker laser hits you it's 100% miss on buildings even with MKB. making tinker agh's a ****ing insane base defense tool. i think the counter to that is necrobook since laser doesn't bounce to non-heroes, or BKB ofc.

I don't think bkb removes laser's blind debuff actually, but you can remove it with manta or other dispels.

I've been a big Chuan fan since TI2, so I'm rooting for Newbee even though I used to hate this team. Once Chuan joined they really grew on me though.

Our next goal is t7 bcup, I need profile decorations too.
