I have about 350 games mid with Ember. I'm only about 3k or so, but the heroes I've had the most trouble with mid are support type heroes specifically designed to deny me. Warlock/Dazzle/Skywraith come to mind. It might just be because I don't have a large sample against those heroes to get an idea how to play it. Also, a good tiny is tough to play against.

Wow, Kuro just did a mid pull with the Troll hard camp as IO. He tethers to the wave as a ranged attack is following him, and then it hits him when he's nearby the creeps and drags them towards the hard camp. Pretty awesome.

Also this happened today with EE

Yeah that was a very abusive tactic. You leave FATA mid razor alone or near it and he'll still win because there's not enough threat early. Doing this left KURO a little hurt but FATA could 1v3 the underleveled invoker + supports. Casual wisp on radiant is still a pretty decent strat and I don't much like wisp without a decent partner

good against wr because you can 1 shot kill her with your 5 rapiers and silver edge.

silver edge does have some other effect though. dmg reduction I think.

Really though, it's not good against wr at all.

it's good because you can hit her while in windrun. but it's situational. i found it very effective on tiny vs her because it brings her down into combo range, with tiny's large 1 hit dmg + 225 silver edge dmg.

do you mean with the evasion thing? the backstab hit on silver edge can't miss. saying you can hit her once while in windrun, which is nice on someone who has high single hit damage.

Thing is, with Tiny (or any hero for that matter), you shouldn't have to worry about having your shadow blade attack dodged by WR, since you should be using shadow blade to initiate on and kill her in the followup with your spells. Otherwise you're misusing it IMO. Shadow blade is just over half the price for 50 less damage on the backstab. The true strike from invis on Silver edge isn't the reason you buy the item, it's the break & dmg reduction, neither of which is frequently relevant against WR

Rare situation where I commend non-support, I commend team when it does down like this. I prob shouldn't have commended Mirana tho, who 3rd pick randomed and wanted/got mid.
