yeah agree that group a looks way tougher. i expect EG and VP to more or less breeze through group b into upper bracket. group a will be more fun to watch tho.

im still up for predicting group stage results, would just use their scoring format with 3 points for a 2-0, 1 point for 1-1, and 0 points for 0-2. then predict final scores for each team

c9 has been playing better than VG, who is the second best team in group B.

And Group B doesnt even have the best team in the world.

An argument for group B would be that their bottom 2 team will be stronger than complexity+wildcard#2.

Group A also just seems much higher variance in general

Navi and Fanatic should greatly benefit from the best of 2 format; C9 may suffer for it

Group B doesn't seem nearly as threatening after the top 4

Is MVP Phoenix a shoe-in for the wildcard slot? They'll crush the other 3 teams.

Imo the groups are pretty well balanced. Ehome, MVP hot 6 and fnatic are capable of going on an unexpected run in the group stages.

i thought vega and cdec were the favorites, but tbh havent watched a ton of the wild card teams. either way, the top wild card team will have a shot at putting up a decent record in group b

cdec and vega are the favourites

most sites have cdec pretty high, and vega have been winning a LOT coming into TI, compared to their previous near anonymousness.

http://www.gosugamers.net/dota2/rankings#team (I like this list, its not perfect but it gives a very good representation of results in the medium term)

cdec ranked #9, vega not far behind

phoenix 25th actually behind archon (NAR)

Omgomgomg the international is coming. I'm going to pee.

I just ended a contract as well so I'm free for the next two weeks. It's going to be steak and mash for the first game.

Toby + Synderen are casting the Grand Final. It can't get any better imo.

Dendi said that NaVi has been practicing a couple of interesting pocket strats. Might have to jump on the NaVi bandwagon again.

If you mean grand finals, then it was esl one. But I think they also played each other after that in dotapit.

At esl one, it was tobi+cap and I agree that it was terrible. I'm not really a fan of synderen either though.

Some guy on reddit put all the games into google calendar: https://www.google.com/calendar/embe...erica/New_York

Click on the "+ Google Calendar" button in the bottom right corner to add it to your own calendar (will convert to your timezone).
