yeah SV hunters got a nice boost with the explosive **** buff. It was slightly stronger, but they lowered it a bit for the patch.

I switched over to it anyway before patch to try out, and its more fun than BM IMO. I was doing 1.9k on Sarth last night in 10man, which isn't really good, but its not bad either. I am really curious to see how I do with the buff.

If the dps is ok, I might stick with it because there are several fights where your pet just dies, and it really sucks as a BM because pets are so much of your dps, and you get a buff when your pet is out.

the Volley is whatever, I don't care that much. I'll just use multi and possibly trap dance a bit.

Really happy with the changes to mining, and the one engineering one that makes the scrap bot a repair bot as well.

yeah, well..... one of the newly lvl 80 hunters in our group was doing 900.

It was kind of a pain in the ass fight, I had to constantly dps adds and tranq the elementals. I couldn't focus on sarth much because of it. I was expecting something like 2.3k.

boot the hunter doing 900. thats just pathetic.

heh, he is in the guild. we got sarth eventually. My guild is like that. They will make fun of the hunter all raid, but keep him anyway, then afterwards go run heroics with him to get better gear.

900 is like, unspeakably bad, like auto-attack only type bad. Espec as a hunter, wtf.

yeah I don't quite know how it happened. Actually if he auto attacks with pet, he should above it lol.

make sure his pet is talented.
some hunters don't even know their pets have talent trees. it is huge for the damage, their survivability, and some sweet abilities they have too.

We have three lvl 80 hunters, and we all specced SV LOL. One of us should probably go MM for the true shot aura buff.

Whatever, anyway we did some 25man naxx tonight, on Patchwork I was up around 3.3k, and I was in 4th. First was around 3.6K I think.

Seems like they ninja-nerfed the dailies in Brunnhidar Village that gave you a Hyldnir Spoils bag that could produce a white bear mount.

Pre-patch I always received the daily to destroy 30 Protodrake eggs and possibly a 2nd daily quest.

Post-patch I no longer receive the destroy egg daily but instead only get one daily quest.

He's either too cheap to transfer it or your guild is progressed far enough that he thinks he'll get easy epics just by virtue of being there.
