Played for a while earlier today, started off in the Borean Tundra area about halfway through level 68. Dinged 69 and am almost halfway through that level. Thinking about going back to where I left off in Outlands to finish off 69 since not being able to pick up certain quests is starting to cramp my style a bit. In my server there were no lag issues and suprisingly everyone was pretty well behaved, grouping up for certain quest kills, not stealing people mobs during grind quests. Its been, dare I say, pleasant...

my server has no queues, also im 73 now

500 queue on my main server, 59 DK. not sure if i will be able to bear doing the outlands for the 3rd time but we will see. DK is a lot of fun

Leveled a DK to 56. Still have no idea what i'm doing.

I had a 1600 queue tonight. I waited and i'm like 2/3 of the way to 71. :-p

So.. 27 hours in.. and there is a level 75 guy on my server..

Some people don't sleep.

27 hours is how long it took for the first level 80. Some french warlock. He was AE dotting crap continuously with a healer outside of the group healing him.

follow that thing i sent you. i got to 70 in 6 days played iirc.

My experience was about the same (started in HF though). I had a lot of fun with the quests, although some were a bit too easy imo. Only thing I might have liked change was the respawn times for quests where you have to kill some named MOB and there's about 25 people standing around where it spawns AOEing the hell out of the area. If I were Blizzard, I'd have made those mobs respawn after about 10-15 seconds for this first week.

Improve your odds by inviting 4 aoe clases to your group for those.

I didn't really level at all last night. Queue + horrible lag in northrend + 3-4 second lag on the instance server made it unplayable or at least not enjoyable. Ended up working on my JC instead. Spent like 500g prospecting cobalt. Hopefully I see some returns from having the first l80 blue gems on the AH. I also had a major fail making a level 73 ring for to sell without noticing it was BOP. GG 200-300g in mats.

yeah I didn't level last night either, but I am about 60-70% to 71.

Quests are super easy IMO.

Also, most people appear to be ignoring ganking, except for the random douche that shows up. I was in the temple thingy in Borean waiting for a named to spawn, and there were two horde waiting as well. We all just left each other alone, but then some other horde shows up and proceeds to gank me. WTF. One of the horde who was waiting /sighed me, lol. I think some times we get embarrased by our factions actions. Sure we are enemies on a PVP server, but whatever.

Yeah I haven't had a problem doing any of the boss mobs in HF. I just get a group and we're always either first or second. No prob, bob.

73.5 as of now (just woke up). I have to work today though so won't be able to level. Christ you guys level fast. I thought I was doing pretty damn good (7 hrs/sleep night). Had thurs off but not today. Queues are 500-700 (30-45 minutes) during peak hours. There's a night elf warrior that is probably going to be server 1st 80 at 76 now with dual glaives. I cant even imagine how people could be 79 -- shouldn't be possible to level that fast.

EDIT: yeah haven't had any problems with elites -- my gear and ret pally status > elites. Have only replaced a trinket (Hourglass).
