You can level to 70 really easy solo. On most of my chars I might spend 5 hours grouped, tops. A lot of that is grouping for like 10 mins to kill an elite or not killsteal people on hard to find mobs.

WoW destroyed grouping.

TBC destroyed pre-outlands grouping, iyam.

I found grouping in outland counterproductive to leveling as well. Maybe you wrap up a couple areas with elite kills in a 2-3 man group, but almost no where did i feel a benefit to come from grouping. Exception was having all the quests lined up for a run thru ramps/bf and coilfang. After that the instances seem pointless to lvl as few quests and CoT is a bitch timewise to do. I have most of the fast easy quests in my head, and just stack them along with a couple sessions of high density grind killing. Its become a pretty lonely game for now unless youre in a big guild, I have only one char in a smal/medium guild and they spend most of their tiem grinding dailies. Maybe Wrath of the Lich King makes it more fun, but for now its basically an hour break from poker then back to poker.

I hit 70 around the start of season 3... so glad they implimented the arena system. Its all I really enjoy, and is the main reason I started playing again. Was fortunate enough to get gladiator in my first season despite not playing all that much, hopefully this season I'll have enough time to get full S4 shadow gear to respec back and forth in 2s with my rogue partner to beat ****ing Warrior/Druid...

I do raid occasionally (primarily as shadow) despite hating it clearing all of BT/Hyjal.

Grouping has always been counterproductive to leveling. Grouping becomes more of a necessity to gain better gear once you are already at the level cap.

how much is an averagely geared 70 druid worth? it's just not possible for me to balance playing wow and getting hands in so i wouldn't mind selling mine if it was worth it

i have decent resto pvp gear, pretty much gemmed and set up for maximum survival at 493 resilience and 1736 +heal. haven't been feral for awhile but the tank gear isn't terrible and is plenty to tank gruul/mag

70 Alliance Shadow Priest (3/6 T6, pants of kalecgos woot!) Guild working on Brutallus.
70 Alliance Druid (nothing special here 2 piece t4 for tanking and a decent boomkin/resto gear)
70 Horde Mage (mostly in pvp gear but could raid BT/Hyjal with it)
70 Horde Paladin (basically just dinged, 1 piece of t4)
66 Alliance Warlock (haven't bothered leveling it up).

Got to lv 40 a few months ago and quit the next day b/c the mount was pretty lame and didn't really add much to the game.

So if you sell a character to someone, is there an ability to just transfer it to the other account?

Only between accounts owned by the same person I believe (must be same name as owner).

Generally what is done is you would create an account with your first name and my last name (as I cannot transfer the character otherwise) and your own physical address/email address/secret question. Thus all details of the account will be accurate except for the last name.

started playing retail again and in a month ive only gotten to lvl 17, playing on private servers have ruined my grinding skills =(. On the last server i was on u became lvl 254 after 1 kill :P
