I think d3 should get it's own subforum already - it will definitely need one later so that isn't an issue. I read this thread 3-4 times a day. Would encourage people to make more threads regarding more minor topics and just create more discussion period.

This is such a joke. I ran the system check a while ago, and never checked the results. Just looked now and it said I only had 256mb of video ram....run it again and instantly updates to 1 gig. Probably going to miss it because of this bs.

Yeah, I've got an iMac.

Just saying it probably didn't help my cause that the system req thing didn't properly report what type of video card I have. Doubt you can even play this game with a 256mb card.

Can you tell us what your system specs are? Blizzard bases their selections in part on those, so maybe we can all go out and buy your kind of videocard for better chances or something.

Right? Hardcore enthusiasts are gonna buy the game already. Just like WoW they want to broaden their marketshare to people who might not buy the game or already know about it: casuals without great gaming rigs.

12 gb ram, 2.8 i7 overclocked to 4.0 , 5870 eyefinity 2 gb card.

Yeah apparently the general public invites did indeed start going out today, of course my account isn't flagged for it, :sadface:

but I anticipate new waves of invites every week or two, as the beta is so small people will quit playing it after they've run through all the content a few times.
