Finished up the 5 acts a week ago, had a blast with this game. It was the first one I've played in a while where I kept saying "just one more floor/area" and ended up playing an extra hour+ after I meant to quit. I played a Crusader, and had a blast with lots of the skills. I played with the female version who sounded and looked like Brienne of Tarth from GoT. The absolute best time was my Captain America phase, around level 45 when I got a weapon or shield that removed the mana cost for shield throw, allowing me to use that as my main attack and just wreck the screen with bouncing shields from across the room. I kept that weapon way longer than I should have
. The game seemed pretty easy - I died a half dozen times when I got trapped in a narrow space against a yellow enemy, but I could always resurrect right there, move a little bit out of the corner and finish them off. Never died twice. I never grinded, never did an area twice, but I always felt a little overpowered. I think I finished the game on Torment 1.
After that I started a Wizard and a Witch Doctor and did some bounties, plus a couple of rifts with my crusader. The witch doctor I got to ~level 40 and that was super fun. I also loved the special old tristram event with the old school graphics, that was a super fun find.
Unfortunatley, I'm having to retire. I have an daunting games backlog of Dead Cells, God of War, Spiderman, Dark Souls 3, Batman Arkham Knight, Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. I only get 3-5 hours a week to play, and given there's no real stopping point in Diablo I figure now's as good a time as any. If I had more time I would definitely be investing many more hours in this though, it's great fun. (If anyone hasn't tried Dead Cells yet btw, I loaded that up the other night and it's great so far.)
