Destiny 2 (and the original) - Page 9 - Video Games

So, finished the story.

Overall, story is OK-ish. Not as good as halo but that's sort of expected really given that halo was a whole story and didn't have to include any end-game comment.

The combat so far is really really good, a lot like halo/borderlands but with much less loot. I think a lot of the loot customization only comes in at the very end, don't expect to be running around with any rares at all until ~lvl 12-13, and even then they're... well rare.

I just hit lvl 19. hitting max is pretty quick.

Max character level and max level are not the same thing. You begin grinding to max your dude once his "level" is capped.

crucible seems to be a good way of getting rare weapons. I've gotten 3 so far.

It can be 6 on occasion - notably the "endgame" raid. But also most of the PVP Crucible modes.

Been playing solo for a couple of hours trying to get a feel for the game. I have no idea wtf I'm doing but I'm having fun doing it.

Still haven't figured out if I should be doing all the earth stuff 1st(Russia) or if there's something in the Tower that I'm missing. Maybe I shouldn't have avoided the beta.

Really not sure how to add someone other than seeing them in the Tower and joining a fire team.

Not the face, but the armor / etc. will change with your gear changes, and you can use "shaders" to change the colors of your favorite gear.
