Are any PC people doing the raid tomorrow?

I have to say that I am pretty disappointed with how tiny this game is

I feel like I've barely played at all and I've already done everything except the raid

Their patch day is Tuesday morning, right?

World was still super empty when I was playing last night, plus I was getting booting more frequently than ever.

Looks like the empty public events thing may be coming in a Thursday patch. Tuesday’s hotfix was just to enable unsupported CPUs.

Also on Thursday they are fixing the Clan screen and the FPS degradation issue.

faction thing is out, and the new measures they put in to prevent exploits... has already been exploited.

Easy to get enough tokens to get the max 30 engrams that reward items besides just shaders. GG

Last time FWC did not cap out at 30, I presume they fixed that this time round?

I've been playing as much as I can on PC, really enjoying that.

Of the faction weapons, the one I'm the most stoked about is the Maxim XI sniper rifle from New Monarchy. It's not like it's best in slot - because snipers just aren't that great this time around - but it's dramatically better than all the other snipers I've used (except that blue one, the Aachen-LR2, which is worse but still good). It has no reticle sway so it feels like D1, and it hits hard, and it has Snapshot so it aims super fast. Really fun to use. If you like sniping, give that a whirl.

The other faction weapons to watch out for are the Dire Promise and Guiding Star (both Dead Orbit), and The Number and Pleiades Corrector (both Future War Cult).

If you really need a good SMG, Future War Cult has the Stochastic Variable that's pretty good, but the Sondok blue SMG is better. So are Adjudicator and Antiope-D.

If you really want a great shotgun, try to find the green Hand in Hand, which is as close to the matador as D2 is going to get.

Yay, access to... purple mods, but only when I’ve got certain weapons equipped.

Don’t have a usual time that I play, but if I’m on this week it’ll be early in the morning or after 7 CST

I got to 275 and still haven't done the powerful gear quests for this week

I can group anytime after 3PM PST, doesn't matter the day

This is some of the most fun pvp ive ever played in any game, ever

I find the pvp in this game incredibly generic. Every mode feels the same.

Unless the time to kill is different on the PC version it should be about the same as the consoles which is team shooting being the only way to go. Winning 1 on 2 or 1 on 3's being extremely difficult. At least you don't have to worry about strategy this time round: get shot, try and get back to team without getting killed again. Repeat.

The main difference AFAIK is that hand cannons work properly on PC. Which makes the game feel good, like D1 crucible used to be a long time ago.

Looking forward to the DLC on the 5th - stream was impressive, and to me "Raid Lairs" sound like the best possible outcome for the cryptic "New Raid Content" - Essentially a new raid, delivered frequently! I hope the new one is a bit more shooty and less mechanical.

Very fluid, balanced, combat reminiscent of halo 3, which I really loved. There are a lot of interesting weapon and armor choices to make, and no you do not have to use the MIDA

Movement feels really fun with my warlock blink ability and sliding around everywhere

Started the day with a 15 titan, now he’s 270+ power

Wasn’t having much fun with hunter until I got solar subclass and the helm that lets your special only do one massive damage shot. It’s fun one shotting high value targets

Iron banner games are incredibly frustrating. I’m doing well but my teammates feed a lot. Yesterday i went 1.5 k/d and 2 k+a/d and still went 8-17.

Then i read the reward is a crappy emblem that does nothing. Lol.

Got my warlock to 292 and my titan immediately got to 280 after hitting level 20. I guess it’s time for hunter now

Iron Banner with randoms is very frustrating, doing it with a team was one of the shiny bits of Destiny 1 though.

fixed my problems with iron banner. i think it was just bad luck. I went 12-0 yesterday and today have had pretty similar games. I'm one head piece away from completing the set.
