best way to power lvl an alt?

edit: is it against forum rules to advertise i'm willing to pay for someone to do it? I dont wanna grind it i'd rather pay somebody to do it

I just played the alt in crucible from 2-17 and then did story missions to unlock up to Venus. Only took a few days.

Finally got to 30. Haven't run the nightfall or heroic weekly, tempted to just run people through raids for a while.

Someone posted the list from an old post so I re added my name.

For an update I did try the earth farming location but they did not re spawn like the video even when I tried to go down the stairs and then back up so I am thinking either it was fixed on a patch, or else it doesn't happen until I hit vanguard 2.

I did get to play with a couple of guys yesterday and it sounds like the bounties are the way to go to get drops, while mixing in a strike or two (at least level 20ish if not higher). We bumped the level up to 22 and even one at 24 and it seemed more drops were happening. I leveled up from 20 to 22 with a tad better gear and FINALLY a level 20 gun lol. I think I got about 300+ vanguard points so I only need about 1500 to go to hit rank 2.

So to summarize it looks like mixing in both strikes and bounties will help me get to rank 2 along with marks where I can really start to get some gear. If someone does not want to do crucible and only pve hit me up if you are online and we can kill some fools

yo...I saw you added me while I was playing with a couple of other guys. I will remember to accept/add you tonight. I did test the mic that comes with the ps4 and it is crummy but does work so I can communicate via that if need be.

I'm level 21 almost 22, could use some people to strike with, randoms gets pretty boring.

Any tips on finding Legendary or Exotic gear? I have all rare at this point, but nothing farther.

Does anyone remember back when the BETA was up, there was a day where if you signed on at a certain time to help them test the servers players were promised something during the real game. Did they ever come to fruition?

Yeah you get an emblem - pick it up from the "special deliveries" vendor just in front/left of you when you enter the tower

Anyone up for the weekly heroic? Need to finish it for exotic bounty... And looks like solo'ing this one isn't an option.

I'm not up for the weekly heroic tonight. I'm going to be doing some bounties so I can take breaks and check the Chargers/Broncos game every once in a while.

edit: I'm also going to be grinding relic iron and helium filaments.

Ya, dropped that purple one earlier today. Is pretty sweet.
Not sure how long I'll keep it tho. Managed to cheese weekly heroic (Phogoth) for exotic bounty that'll drop an exotic pulse rifle.

I was told joining a faction would increase my chances of getting Legendary loot, is this accurate? I'm at level 22 right now, but I have nothing but Rare items. I think I need to start doing these daily and weekly things.

Check what level your vanguard/crucible ranks are... if they're close(ish) to 2 then stick with those factions, and you'll be able to grab some legendary gear quickly

I've read several places that you should at least do the Daily every day. I'm waiting until I get my weapons/armor maxed before I start trying the harder stuff b/c I'm positive I'll need it.

You should do the daily and a public event every day. Guaranteed 3 or 4 ascendant mats everyday with the occasional strange coin or mote mixed in.
