I pre-ordered it and it’s already downloaded... Oh well... Bring on the bugs. I need a new game anyway!

Less than 24 hours. One final trailer. I hope it doesn't suck.

I expect there is probably a Day 1 patch that will come with the game that reviewers / etc won't have in the versions they have been playing... But only so many bugs can be solved in a few weeks...

I didn't preorder, so will be able to see player feedback tomorrow before I decide whether this is Day-1 buy for me, or just give it more time in the oven.

People have already started playing. It seems most of the bugs are visual (people driving in invisible cars, lips not moving when talking) rather than the gamebreaking kind.

EDIT: That is for console anyway. PC version is still 6 hours away.

New video card drivers (Nvidia anyway) also came out about 3 hours ago.

I was pretty appalled after the tiny bit I played and quit and might not try it again for a few months because the feel of the game seemed real awful to me. I don't know what they need to do to fix it, but at least on my PC, it was not an enjoyable first 20 minutes at all.

The reviews of it being buggy and clunky seem understated if anything imo.

Am I the only one who has had zero interest in playing this game? I love open world type games, but this one never looked fun to me.

Played for a couple hours. So far I've only seen a couple minor visual bugs. It also runs (and looks) great considering all I have is a GTX 1080 and an i5-6500.

My Steam playtime says 4.8 hours but I'm only at the part where you get to V's apartment (probably 45 mins gameplay). I spent a lot of time reading the database/reading the lore pieces/read all the internet pages on a computer/etc. But so far everything has been great, I haven't run into the bugs and performance issues other people have.

I've only done a little bit of driving/shooting/hacking but everything has felt fine so far. Driving felt a bit over responsive but I've only driven one car so I don't know if that's pervasive or had more to do with the vehicle I had. I've heard people say enemies can feel like bullet sponges but I have't had any trouble killing them with 2 headshots from a pistol. Nothing like enemies in The Division (not yet anyway).

If people go into this thinking it is futuristic GTA they are going to be disappointed because it definitely isn't. Its more like futuristic Witcher (duh) or closer to an open world Deus Ex Human Revolution/Mankind Divided game.

1080/amd3600/16gb ram - runs fine at the second highest graphics setting with lens flare turned off. Only gotten to the welcome to the city cut-scene, but have not encountered any issues yet.

I'm playing with a GTX 1080, i5-6500, 16 GB ram. I play at 1440p. When I started the game it defaulted all the graphics options to high/ultra but my FPS was 25-30. I didn't want to spend time tweaking graphics options (I'll wait until there is a proper performance guide out, probably later today or tomorrow) so I just set everything to Medium except Screen Space Reflections which I set to low since I heard it is a performance hog.

Anisotropy, Color Precision, Mirror Quality, and Level of Detail I left maxed. I turned off Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration, Depth of Field, and Motion Blur like I do in every other game.

After that I was getting 50-55 fps. I also did a clean install of the latest Nvidia driver before I started playing.

PS5 here. Played a couple hours and haven’t seen any bugs but perhaps a glitch here and there. Not really sure. I’m enjoying it so far. Will probably sink a ton of time in today though. Will have much more to say on it soon!

PS5. Four crashes in 12 hours but looks and plays great for the most part - some weird random texture issues/clipping a few times here and there but I’m having a blast.

Also playing guns blazing and might start all over and reconsider cuz I’m getting lit the **** up.

How important is hacking? From the tutorial it seems like melee may be the easiest

I’ve had 1 crash and a few weird glitches but that’s all so far.

As for hacking, it’s convenient for cameras but I haven’t found another good use for it yet.

I restarted to give myself a big penis and it's a completely different experience. Stayed up way too late last night just waking around looking for an excuse to show it to people. 1 crash so far on ps4.
