Welp, I'm ready for some heavy counter-strike railing. Hope the french organisation won't suck and we'll get the GOTV this time. During the eswc.fr no GOTV were available, thus no streams at all. Only got to see 2 games (final included).

Yeah im going to probably watch the first match and fall asleep before the others. Such bad times for Americans.

Right so for anyone interested there are two main streams of the ESWC event.

ESWC - This is the main event's stream, which means it won't always be CSGO games (there are other games being played). At the moment it's NaVi vs. k1ck eSport on the main stage so we'll see that game on there.

ESWC CS - This stream will pick up once csgo isn't on the main stage and show some games.

Clan Mystik - This stream is showing some games as well apparently. It's in french, and they're showing Cloud9 vs. Planetkey Dynamic right now.

Actually yesterday during a game I bounced a flash double door mid on d2 and heard the flash hit a CT, which totally gave away his position and I was able to strafe one shot him. Got reported

playing against a guy with 3 hours that is prefiring mid with an awp, shooting through smoke, holding dumbest angles for kills, etc. he spams a free esea account that hasnt been logged on since 2010 as proof he doesn't cheat. immediately after the game someone on the other team adds me and confirms he was cheating. gooooooooooood times

I feel like if i could practice and become competent at throwins nades, that would be really beneficial.
I can find good videos from adren or warowl on the subject, but those are usually limited to 1 or 2 tips. I'd like something more comprehensive.

Best website I found for smokes+flashes is this one. They have all main maps, show an overview of the maps and all the different flashes & smokes you can do. Each of them have a short video attached which shows exactly how to do them.

Spend some time on there and learn all of them.

Unrelated question:

Back in my 1.6 days I remember my team & I often participated in one-day tournaments. Usually they were hosted by random IRC channels, with some stupid prize for the winner (usually a server for one week or sg). These were quite cool because it helped us practice, and there was a "goal" to move up the bracket and win the tournament.

I can't seem to find anything similar for CSGO. Does anyone know if it exists?
