Justin.tv has streams of pro LANs every once in a while, but you need to know when the tourneys are occurring to pick up on them. hltv.org tends to know when they are though, and has great coverage of the euro scene, which is really all that's left.

i havent played source before and am debating buying it to get in the swing of things. havent played at all in years but really craving some dust lately.

readmore.de has ton of POV demos, but you have to register to download them and it's in german.

i wish they would make 1.1 or 1.3 with modern graphics. i know, it will never happen, but a man can have a dream.

fwiw you don't need to watch pro matches (and I wouldn't recommend watching a pro match) to get a feel for the game. They do things that wouldn't be considered "standard". Very much like the poker world, these guys have played each other countless times so they do crazy and "stupid" things to throw each other off. In CS you can have people playing at the lowest league level but they are some of the top notch level players. You can also have mediocre (relatively) "pro" teams that don't win a match throughout the entire 3 month season.

There are many talented players that play this game, but its the teamwork and chemistry between 5 guys that distinguish the good teams from the great ones.

heh i used to play css super competitively all throughout highschool; played cevo main and cal way back in the day. was also a constant esea pugger (i think i changed my sn in esea to isildur1 or something before i quit). when esea had a skill system i held top skill for a long period of time with a sick fpr/adr/kdr, i was one of the few people to reach and maintain ~2100+ skill for a long time which was just absurd at the time.

im unsure of how to get a beta key for cs:go so if anyone wants to hook me up with a key id be willing to trade for stars $$.

if ur looking to get a key and pay money i'd check ebay, they get taken down but i got a message in while one was still up and was able to grab one thru pm's with the guy after it was taken down.

better to go directly to twitch and search for cs streams.
