Anyone every had CS crash on them every time you start it? Removed Launch options and removed my config. Still the same thing happens. I guess the easiest thing to do is a fresh install.

On a fresh new rig btw drivers etc up to date and all that. Googled some fixes but nothing has worked. Actually the only thing that has worked consistently is if I boot fortnite up before and then boot CS up then close fortnite

Did a windows update and seemed to have fixed it.

Its about time for Valve to release another version soon, does anyone else think this is related to the skin changes? Call me crazy but I think they are intentionally ruining the game so they can relaunch a new version with some battle royale options.

I don't see them going down the BR route tbh... A new CS would be great though imo.

I would really hope not, I think the E3 show had like 4 new Battle Royale style games, namly Battlefield bringing out their own.

The same thing happened back in the day with the original CS. Beta to 1.3 the game was tough and it was difficult to better your skills. Then updates started flowing in and by 1.6 time the game was very different. This is the same time when the prize money at tourney's became the biggest it ever was. Fast forward a few years and the game was dead. Same timeline as I see happening with CS:GO, hell its already happened that way so far.

Nah. They're ruining the game because they finally have got some new people working on it I think. One guy has been very vocal on twitter of late. I stopped playing a little while ago, so I haven't really been paying attention.

That one dev got bounced after he got caught with an underage hooker. I think that slowed everything down even more.

VALVE are extremely slow to release new games. I mean TF2 is still going.
I imagine they'll do the same with CS:GO, just run it into the ground.

I mean they still have yet to release Panorama UI. LOL.

I had a bunch of skins saved up so I could have enough money to cash em out and build a new computer. Now I'll probably only have money for half of one. I guess now is as good as time as any to cash them out. I really don't want to try to sell them myself and deal with chargebacks, etc, since as far as I know OPskins was the only decent place to do that.

I'll probably sell them all and something will change, so it was somehow a mistake per usual though.

They might want to update in the face of battlegrounds, Fortnite and **** blowing up and expand the game and maybe you know finally get on to source 2.

I've been experiencing a pretty game-altering bug for a while now. I get these massive freezes in the middle of rounds, approximately once per round. I have no idea where it comes from. I play CSGO and PUBG, and never really noticed it in PUBG -- though that might be due to sample size as I rarely play PUBG.

As I walk back down highway around 6", you'll notice an almost 2" long freeze. My character keeps moving, no way of stopping it.

Has anyone ran into this issue before? I've looked at CPU heat and it doesn't seem to be an issue -- happy to dig out the numbers or run more tests on that if you think this could help.

Not sure which file you mean. I googled it, but couldn't find anything. Do you have any indication of what it's supposed to be, so I can dig further?

Perhaps he means this:
Load Steam.
From the Library section, right-click on the game and select "Properties" from the menu.
Select the "Local Files" tab and click the "Verify integrity of game cache..." button.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

This is the problem with CS there are so many settings that can influence any kind of problem and it can be a pain in the ass trying to find the solution.

Maybe its something to do with Nvidia or a graphic settings here are my settings probably worth ago too see if anything helps.

If anyone thinks I actually should change something then please let me know as right now I'm very hit or miss on each game I play like a lot of the time I feel like my hit registration is pretty bad in some servers and I usually average between 8-45 ping and I have a 50 download and 10 upload. This might be in my head though, also have the standard 128 tick rates on CS and the default rate I think it's 19xxx what ever the last few numbers are.

Also if you use discord and chrome turn off hardware acceleration, You'll find it in settings in both programs.
