I'm also just super tilted by the peeking mechanics/netcode in this game. In overwatch, nobody flies around the corner and has already shot me in the head 3 times. I can't tell the difference between playing on 70 ping or 30 ping, and rarely if ever shoot a bullet that looks like a hit that doesn't register.

It's super exacerbated by cheaters, where you literally just cannot react in time to a prefire. I don't know how much of it is settings, since there are seemingly settings that do impact the way people peek on your screen, which I posted not that long ago.

Hoping they do release source 2 for this game at some point with some potentially improved anti cheat measures, and maybe better hit reg/more consistent resolutions. I cannot play at 2560x1440 native because it's just 10x harder to aim than it is at 1600x900 or on a 4x3 stretched. The thing that sucks about the smaller resolutions it looks super washed out and it's very hard to see enemies, but I hit so many more headshots. It has nothing to do with FPS since I get about 300 on any settings.

yeah it's a pretty bad idea for a comp game imo for that exact reason, hopefully there will be some restrictions from using it.

It's popular, it is technically a great map, I don't even mind playing it that much

but i hate it.

Na cobble by far has to be the worst map imo, I hate the fact CT's can't really push anything and rotation from B to A is the worst.

Everytime the A player/s die the other team are already close to site by the time your at the balacony, I play a ton of faceit matches and they all vote cobble but no one has any idea how to play the CT or T side. T side imo you either play really fast or super slow to wait for all the utility to come out from the CT's.

I like mirage way more than I do cobble.

on inferno, has the angle from spools to sandbags changed? it feels way more open or something.

This Epicenter tournament is delivering. I love plays like this.
