I'm not deeply knowledgable about live and not looking to start a flamefest but the short version of what I'm saying is that TBC is just 'a better vanilla' where Live is not.
I didn't raid vanilla, I think I hit 60 like a month before TBC came out, but after raiding Classic I'd like to see 40-man versions of TBC 20-man raids. So far every TBC raid was more interesting and better designed than anything through P4 (is ZG P5?), but I like the feel of 40-man more. Other than that, I agree, TBC is superior in almost every way.
