Im excited for wow classic fresh servers or whatever they call it now. Gonna chill and level a warlock on a server where every zone is crowded and fun. Mabye a bit of raiding after that, we'll see. I played vanilla in 2004-2006 and classic in 2019-2020. I just cant get into TBC, never played retail wow. Looking forward to it!

FINALLY my guild went 10/10 this week after 1 shotting all of SSC in under 2 hours last night. Was only our 2nd vash attempt ever so I was pretty stoked. I switched from our main healer to bear tank, liking it a lot better. Very easy and fun. I was trying to tell the raid leader this whole phase that I’d rather tank, because I have like a P1 bis + some t5 pieces tank set, I’m armor capped at like 40% dodge and 18k health, etc. I basically built this bear to be a main tank and finally finally I’m officially our bear tank and I got to tank Vash for our kill, which was kind of a dream of mine, to tank a final boss in a 25 man. I’ve tanked mag and gruul but this felt different.

Lots of work goes into building tank sets so I was happy to see the planning I did pay off, she never ever hit me for more than 1/3rd of my health. I ended fight at 70% mitigated dmg which is sick, because I know there’s room to make that even better.

Now I’m going into P3 with extremely good tank and healing sets. Not bis, but I could easily do either one in hyjal and BT. They’re gonna keep me on tank though because I’m good at it and we’ve had persistent issues keeping a reliable bear tank. Plus, our OG resto druid just returned to the game who can easily replace me.

P3 is gonna be rough, we’re undergeared but after struggling this entire phase I think we finally have a good core of about 23 people.

Anyone playing WOTLK? I'm tempted but if I do so I was thinking casual... like (20~ hours a week) is this even possible?

Incase anyone wants to try WOTLK, in bnet you can play on the "Public Test Realm(Wrath Classic)" for free, you can create a lvl 70 char with decent gear, get consums/enchants from npcs.
