I keep getting rocked by
1) the prince
2) the barrel of goblins launched at my towers

What are the best counter troops for each of these?

knight or skelly army on the prince works well.

arrows on the gob barrel

Tombstone works well for Prince. Distracts him long enough for the 4 skeletons + tower to take him out. Tombstone as a distraction is very useful against balloons + giants too.

Im nearly lvl 6 and yet have to get my prince card... seems like Im the only one around with no prince, wtf rlly... no dragon either.
On the upside, got my balloon 2 days ago, sure helps ur skills when u dont have the 'big cards' to play with while everyone else uses em...

Dont think the prince is that OP, sure if he reaches ur tower its bad news but 4 barbs or skeleton army do the trick.
And as also mentioned above, just use arrows vs gob barrel, keep it ready and time it perfectly and they dont stand a chance.

Do u guys use different decks or just stick with one btw? Ive 2 decent/working decks and experimenting with the 3rd one where I use the cards I dont use just to try em out. (in training mode )

I'm level 7 with no Prince. Not sure if he's only available in lower arenas? No real need for him once you get hog rider anyway.

Received the hog rider a few days ago and works fine aswell but havent given him a spot in my normal decks yet... balloon been working nice so far so might match it up with that instead.

Once you reach a level that a card becomes available that card is always available.

It does lessen the likelihood when you clear higher levels it would seem, due to more cards available.

Unlocked from the beginning IIRC.

Still haven't found a deck I'm happy with yet.

So you're still trying every deck possible? Sometimes 2 or even 3 different decks in a row trying to find a perfect fit?

if you guys are missing a key epic, just buy it from the store when it's available. Usually by 'buying remaining gold' should cost you less than 100 gems.

for f2p players, the most +EV thing to do with gems is buy gold anyway, which would be spent on mostly upgrades + epic cards, might as well

Prince is way overpowered at the ~900 trophy level.

(obv I don't have one)

I needed 1 damn crown to get the crown chest and it took 4 draws in a row to finally end on at least a 1-1.

I'm finding draws really tough at arena 4. I have prince and skel army but haven't found witch or baby drag yet

Game is making defending much easier than attacking and I am getting a ton of draws.

Arena 5, 1500 trophies range.

Yeah I got 165 bombers out of those. Dont have the gold to upgrade lol

I got hella gold in it too, like 2kish

Sitting in the 2500 trophy range and level 9

Legendary Princess is insane
Legendary Ice Wizard also insane, but not as much

Pekka is soooooooo much better than other tanks

I've noticed that pairing Drain and Hog together on offense is really complicated for the defender
