Night witch is getting a huge nerf, not sure if it will be playable anymore. I thought it was fairly close to balanced after the last nerf.

So for some reason every few months I am forced to start over in the game (go through the tutorial and start with just a few level 1 cards). Anyone know of a way to make this stop? It has happened 4-5 times to me.

Sometimes the login lags and you have to wait to select your account or even restart the app. I've had it hang at the tutorial like it's waiting for me to start from scratch more times than I can count. I don't do it, though.

I don't know how to make what you are describing stop, but you are the first person I have ever seen say that they have been forced to start over.

My account wasn't available to log into for several months to the point where I asked to be kicked out of the 2p2 clan. I've since been able to get back into it. Mess with googleplay probably.

It's definitely a problem with your account, go to game center/Google games and select the account you want to play with or open the game directly from there.

Played a 2v2 with a partner that opened with Fireball in to mirrored Fireball against a Golem.

Deleted the app after causing damage to my iPad last night. Apparently I can't control the emotion that this game stirs up. Might come back if they ever add the option to automatically mute people. But honestly I see my life being better without this game. Super fun but makes me so angry at some of the choices Supercell has made along with the behavior of some of the players.

The most frustrating moments for me come when I lose a tough game and get a cry face or something from the opponent. For some reason this makes me rage - partially at myself for forgetting to mute. Partially at the other guy, despite my head telling me that sometimes people are just jerks and want to add insult to injury (I've done it too on occasion). But mostly it makes me mad at the game because I know there are a lot of people out there like me that would really enjoy if you could "turn off" the communication aspect of the game - but Supercell has specifically said that they don't want to add that.

Basically it feels like I am part of a group that's asking for a simple button and the response is "too bad, deal with it."

For some reason, as much as I know in my head that it's just a game, doesn't mean anything, the other guy probably isn't really a mean person - games can just bring out the worst in people sometimes, you can indeed mute every game if you remember, if you want equal level cards they're available for purchase etc. I know all of that stuff. But for some reason knowing it doesn't help to keep my emotions from flaring up. And it feels the worst when you know that the reason your rage is being triggered is because you forgot to hit the mute button.

I've had trouble like this with other games. I guess I'm sort of a hot head by nature. Like I said, for some reason I can't control those emotions as well as I would like. My hot headedness isn't Supercell's problem - but I would really like it if they added that auto-mute feature. And I know I'm not alone in that.

I would settle for mute being persistent for your current session only. And muting can be an issue if you live down under. Even without muting I sometimes have games where the first hog is halfway to the tower before I can act.

I'm not sure this is relevant to what you're talking about, but the animations of the beginning of the game take place both before and after the start of the game. When the match is made, the games proceeds to animations that include your name, opponent's name etc. The trumpets will sound and the names flee from the screen and you're looking at cards that your opponent has played seemingly before the game started.

In actuality, once the match is made you can tap the screen repeatedly to speed through the matchup notifications and get right to the gameplay. If you do this and your opponent does not, you will be able to play cards while they are still watching the matchup animations. Obviously this will be an unfair advantage in your favor - if you are playing cards before you opponent is notified and has a chance to react.

I'm not sure on Supercell's stance on this particular issue, but I would encourage any player to repeatedly tap the screen to skip the intro animations and get right to the game play. This will either give you an unfair advantage over your opponent (if they don't know this aspect of the game) or it will level the playing field against someone that knows they can gain an advantage over people that aren't aware that the game starts before the animations end.

This would be another example of one of the gameplay choices that Supercell has made that I don't understand and don't agree with. It is the type of thing that leads to an internet forum post of someone asking why there's a hog halfway down their lane before the game has even started (as far as they know).

Never thought about tapping through those announcements. ****ty Australian internet is an issue as well though. Think we are ranked lower than 50th in the world for internet connectivity and speed.

Figuring this out back in the day was an instant boost to my performance.

I currently dropped from arena Challenger II (4300) to arena 2 the bone pit (500) to run into players that are not in a clan to send invite.

**** this ****ing game and their ****ing stance of "**** you, spend $5k if you want it to be fair." **** their nerf of barbarian barrel so those of us that only have level 11 Log get ****ed over by Princess, Rascals, and Dart Goblin.

If any of you guys in Poker Degens have missed me, I haven't changed.

I still think it's bullshit how much it would cost if I wanted to be on an even playing field. I'm within a thousand dollars of Log having a "normal" interaction against Princess etc. but there's no way in **** that I'm spending the money to get it to level 12, much less level 13.

They've made such a good game as far as gameplay goes. But the amount of money that it costs to make it fair is just completely unreasonable.

I think I accumulate a few asterisks each time I queue up against max legendaries, so it's nice to get them all out in one post.

God that's ****ing awful. I can't even comprehend having to spend that on a game like this honestly. Fascinating game tho for what it was tho.

You don't have to spend money if you are willing to spend time.

That's just simply not true at certain levels.
