I maxed out to the highest level most of my resources. So im taking the 3 day hit to level up my town hall, i think to level 7. At the same time keeping all the other 3 builders occupied also.

Im in silver level #1, about 900 trophies.

I have too much gold, it seems to be the easiest to accumulate.

I had a flying dragon attack me, along with his troops also came a healing angel. My air defense was being upgraded, he only won one net trophy, and a pretty good haul of gold, but my elixir escaped...

So im just waiting out the rebuilding now, and burning time off the clock after im attacked and get free shields... i go raid some if im online near my shields running out.

Oh and i just tried out a wizard, but he's a little stupid like the little barbarians. He shoots at the nearest resource instead of the defenders.

Im still not clanned up yet. Running solo for the time being.

Ive been trying out different combinations of troops, i see how different defenses can be cracked easier this way.

I want to try out a flood of goblins following the wall breakers. Pierce walls in several places and send them thru first to distract the defenses, followed by the big barbarian attackers. I noticed the mortar and even cannons cant quite keep up to the goblins running speed. A lot of wasted shots.

I dont think this will work good against deep perimeters though.

Try using the giants to get to the walls and absorb the defense. Then send the wbs. Once the giants get into the cannons, mortars, etc., flood the gobs.

Effective way to get resources.

Also throw your gold into your walls. Best use of it, especially at lower levels.

I just got all my walls up to level 3 (I think, the gray ones) and am working on level 4 (gold). 3m gold total is kind of a pain but that's okay because I have like 5 days of resource upgrades to take care of so raiding and getting gold isn't that big a deal. Also need to upgrade my campfires one more level each so I can get some more troops.

My main army set up is 10 giants, 5 wall breakers, 30 archers and 30 barbs with the lightning spell. I'll be able to add 15 slots once I get the fires upgraded, will probably go giants for those. I like the trick of sending giants first then wall breakers, hadn't thought of that. Thanks.

I wouldn't use so many giants personally. They are too slow and won't get through enough of the structures. Plus adding gobs in farming attacks will help tremendously.

Hey thanks for the info about using gold f o r the walls. Could be slow going though if I need a builder. Oh well, I'm down a few days anyway with the town hall upgrade. I'm about 1/2 black' walls, the rest still stone.

Started playing last week. Seems that with such a late start you gotta blow min 10 bucks, but probably the 100 to get going. Got gold walls and lvl 5 TH so far.
