Do you guys have a good raiding strategy? I'm an early TH 8 and it takes forever to accumulate resources these days. Normally I run with 60 archers, 30 barbs, 10 giants, 8 wall breakers and the rest goblins. Anyone have any different camps or strategies that work better?

I don't recall making myself out to be awesome, I recall saying I didn't want to be in a clan where there were so many lower level players because I didn't want donations of lvl 4 troops (or below)

I only see two players in your clan that are higher level than me. My GG is 381 Million and my EE is 365 Million. closing in on HH of 700K

What trophy range are you in? Generally I recommend BARCH and look for easy targets to hit, click next until you get them, it's worth it rather than settling for some 70K raid.

BARCH is cheap and quick, so allows you to raid more efficiently.

#3 in skill/experience, since the vast majority of your higher level players have all bought their way there with gems.

lvl 116 Matt - looks skilled and has great raiding stats

lvl 94 Kenny - Another lame gemmer who bought his way up

lvl 93 Herp Derp - only has 130 Million GG, probable gemmer

lvl 94 Rumplestilzkien - has 100 million less GG than me but better WT & Xbows = gems

lvl 94 Markinator - same as Rumple

lvl 103 - Laser - Someone who actually earned their way up and didn't just gem it

lvl 94 - jbip - same as Rumple (and lol @ his CC placement, what a gemming newb)

lvl 97 - Bob - lol pink walls

lvl 95 - imsakidd - oh look, another gemmer, congrats

lvl 95 - RichardRichard - nice pink walls bro

So yeah, there's only two players in your clan that I consider at or above my level. The rest are just a bunch of guys who spent hundreds of dollars on a freemium game.

Lvl 11 cannons are a great ROI. They gain a massive 150 hp boost over lvl 10 cannons and are significantly cheaper to upgrade (3.2 million gold compared with 5.36 million for the WT)

I upgraded in stages. Mortars first, then cannons, then teslas, then xbows to lvl 2, then WT to lvl 7, then AT and then max Xbows.

Two lvl 2 xbows (and one upgrading to lvl 3)
Two AT's maxed
Three mortars maxed
Maxed DE drills to lvl 6 (mine are lvl 4)


I can't see his Teslas except one that's maxing from lvl 6 to lvl 7, but assuming his other teslas are maxed or lvl 6.

But his GG is 273 Million, significantly less than mine which is 381 Million.

And I'm supposed to buy that he didn't gem when he has a bunch of things upgraded beyond what I've got?

The obvious answer is the walls. He has all purple which is about a 125m gold difference. How such an expert like yourself missed that I'm not sure.

The majority of the attacks on my base are ground based, it's really rare anyone comes at me with air troops, so I use what is more effective for the raids I see.
