Most the time i don't expect it to make a difference, although Tori only got two stars today where the drains would have made 3 prolly.

Not sure, gonna try it with my 2nd attack on a base with 2 stars already since we have such a big lead. I'd prob still go for the overkill in a tight war, but also partly because draintards is really all I'm all that confident in.
Plus I just put all my purple drank into wiz5 right before war, so I'm a poor atm.
