I'm usually at around 4500 cups. I decided to max the drop ships instead of tying up a builder to upgrade my battle machine (lvl 10) mainly because each BM level increases it'd strength very little (1-2%). I figure that I'll have a little more flexibility with an air attack in addition to my usual 1 camp bombers, 1 camp archers and the rest barbs ground attack

Edit: my lab is close to max aside from witches which I haven't upgraded at all

The builder base is a completely different game now that people are finishing their defenses and upgrading walls. I pretty much never go for 3 stars now, although I do occasionally get lucky and get some. It used to be that if I saw an unbalanced base with the giant cannon or roaster favoring one side I would just try to overpower it early and then 3 star. I never do that now, I just avoid it and go for the weak side. I've also noticed that I'm winning with high % 1 stars far more often.

I agree Bluegrass, I shoot for basically any 2 star and that's usually good enough. I'd say I 3 star about 1 out of 20 times (4600 cups right now). I just maxed my drop ships and have been having fun using them with minions but still am happy if I get a 60% or so two star

Yeah I'm also hovering around 4600 but if I could consistently get 60% 2*'s I'd be up a lot higher. That's a good attack vs a well designed maxed out base.

Can't be bothered looking for a better base as long as I am above 4300 cups. There is no reward for doing so and even without BM I don't go 3-10 to drop below 4k. Hope they add another loot level and drop BH8 soon.

I copied one from a Galadon video a few weeks ago. He dedicated a video to it. Any base with a similar meta is probably good: BH about 1/3 offset with protection from giant cannon, roaster, and balloons. Crushers roughly centered with a deceivingly large amount of % on the other side.

So you can go on the BH side and end up short on %, go through the other side and probably miss the BH, or go with just enough army on both sides for a low % 2*.

If anyone needs a clan and participates in the clan games minimum, PM me, we have a very good level 14 squad. We constantly war, but war participation is optional. Lots of donations and a good group (a few poker guys, a few professional sports industry people and others).

I cleared 5 obstacles just to get one thing done for the builder base games. There's one guy in our clan with 3 accounts that got 3,000 points on all 3. He's pretty much the only reason we got to the 3rd tier.

I would love to see some participation numbers from Supercell on the builder base games. I've only heard a couple of people say they really enjoy the builder base.

I really enjoy the builder base because you can just do it mindlessly while doing other things, doesn't take much

My clan maxed out the challenge pretty handily

That last clan game was the worst yet, not just because it's tough to get an entire clan doing BH challenges but there were no big easy challenges. If you broke down the challenges by expected points per attack the best you could get was around 40, which means you're putting in 75 attacks to max. I actually like the BH side and that was a lot of work even for me. That being said my clan is still 100% for unlocking all tiers. Feel free to join if you're still active in the game and can contribute to clan games/war/whatever (clan name "exiled", level 13+, the one that looks still active).

I maxed the first ones, but the last two I did not (we were between 2nd to last and last tiers and wouldn't have made a difference). The clan games just really burns me out, we war constantly and that's the best part of the game for me, and I farm a ton to get my heroes maxed as fast as possible (all gems I gain in this game I use for AQ).

You throw those clan games in there, especially the monotonous nature of the builder hall, and it's just tough not to burn out.

Yep I burned out. Considering coming back to try out th8 and maybe war on my th10.

builder base is just such a grind, it's basically grinding it out in the hope that eventually the game turns it into something fun.

I've got 4 accounts now, and looking for a clan that will max the clan games. I've got a weak th11, maxed th10 - half the walls, maxed th9 - a level 28 BK and a maxed th8 which I just use to get points for clan games.

All of them have builder base level 7, not sure if I'll be playing builder base on all of them yet.

Not sure if this is allowed but im selling a max th10 and level12 cr googlge id for any decent offer. Havent played much in weeks and got over suercell games overall so id rather someone else have it while the games are alive.
